- Former WWE Diva Kristal Marshall placed 2nd in the 2009 Arnold Amateur NPC Bikini Championship Short Class. She lost the first place spot by one point.


- TNA is looking to add the third member from the cast of Survivor to their list of wrestlers and knockouts as season six winner and Playboy cover girl Jenna Morasca has been signed to the company according to Entertainment Weekly and will debut on the next edition of iMPACT! Morasca made headlines along with her tribe mate Heidi Strobel during the Amazon season when the duo stripped off their clothing in exchange for peanut butter and Oreo cookies during one of the endurance challenges. The stunt landed both hotties on the August 2003 edition of Playboy magazine. "Everyone is covered in glitter and makeup and stuff and then goes and beats the crap out of each other. This is perfect for me," Morasca said. Former Survivor castaways Jonny Fairplay and Joel Anderson were used by TNA in the past.


- At UFC 96 in Columbus, Ohio, Quinton Jackson defeated Keith Jardine via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27).
