- In an interview with Between The Ropes on 3/3, Ric Flair said he would never wrestle again unless he had Shawn Michaels' blessing. He said he doesn't miss being in the ring but misses being around the locker room. He said he has been working on his speech to induct Ricky Steamboat into the Hall of Fame ever since he found out he was inducting him. On those not currently in the HOF he said Arn anderson and Bruiser Brody were no brainers for him and should be in. He also talked about his upcoming ROH appearances although he admitted he had never seen their product: "I respect them so much by what they've talked about, we've agreed upon. I have not seen any of it. I'm endorsing the product based on a very close friend of mine's opinion."

- The Best of Saturday Night's Main Event was ranked #1 again on this week's Billboard Recreation Sports DVD sales chart. WWE dominates the charts: 2. WrestleMania XXIV; 3. Nature Boy Ric Flair: The Definitive Collection; 4. Starrcade: The Essential Collection; 5. The Rock: The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment; 6. The Legacy Of Stone Cold Steve Austin; 7. Hell In A Cell; 8. Triple H: The King Of Kings; 9. BCS National Championship: Official Game Broadcast; and 10. UFC: Ultimate Knockouts 6.

- Jeff Gaylord (real name) was arrested on 1/15 in connection with an armed bank robbery at US Bank in Monument Colorado as well as an attempted robbery back in December at a branch in Castle Rock. Gaylord was a wrestler in the 80s and 90s working for Bill Watts' UWF, World Class, and tagged frequently with Jeff Jarrett in the USWA. He also had a cameo at the 1993 WWF Survivor Series as The Black Knight with Shawn Michaels vs. The Hart Foundation. Investigators believe Gaylord did the crimes wearing a hoodie, sunglasses, fake beard and a fake padded belly. Witnesses to the robbery got a license plate number, leading officers to his home. They executed a search warrant and found him in possession of bait money planted by a Monument teller, as well as a note pad with impressions of one of the demand notes he used on the teller. Gaylord is currently in jail and is expected to appear in federal court at a later date.
