- Ticket website Viagogo.co.uk issued a press release saying that Mickey Rourke's Golden Globe winning performance in the movie 'The Wrestler' made a big effect on both WWE and TNA tickets in the United Kingdom. After the movie hit the screens, Viagogo saw a surge of triple the sales for wrestling tickets with TNA tickets at the NIA Arena and Wembley Arena trading for more than £100 on the website. The most sought after wrestling ticket of last year was the WWE Smackdown Survivor Series Tour, when ringside tickets were changing hands for more than £150.


- In certain markets, Affliction bought commercial time during RAW to promote Saturday night's PPV.
