- The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has released 16 transcripts from their work summarizing the results of the Committee's investigation into steroid use in professional wrestling. In a letter to Office of National Drug Control Policy Director John P. Walters, Chairman Henry Waxman requested that ONDCP examine the widespread steroid abuse and systemic deficiencies in testing policies and practices. The documents contain interviews with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, WWE CEO Linda McMahon, WWE Executive VP of Creative Writing Stephanie McMahon-Levesque, TNA President Dixie Carter, doctors in charge of the WWE Wellness Program and other results.

- Chris Kanyon announced he was coming out of retirement and again accepting independent bookings.


- TNA Wrestling ended their tour in Japan earlier today with a live show at the Tokyo Dome, the second inter-promotional event that the company did with New Japan Pro Wrestling. Four TNA superstars will be going home with the gold as Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley won the IWGP Jr tag team titles by defeating Yujiro & Tetsuya Naito while Team 3D continues to add to their impressive list of titles as they won the IWGP tag team gold by defeating Toru Yano & Togi Makabe.
