- WWE's web site reported that MVP was diagnosed with the Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome from results obtained during a Wellness Policy physical test.

- WWE announced that its board of directors declared the Company’s regular quarterly dividend of $0.24 per share on all Class A and Class B common stock. The record date for the dividend will be September 14, 2007, and the payment date will be September 26, 2007.

- Ohio Valley Wrestling named Joey Matthews (Joey Mercury) the Head Trainer of the OVW/DCW Beginner's Class Program, replacing John "Tank" Toland.

- The 8/9 edition of Impact scored a 0.99, which featured the debut of suspended NFL star Adam "Pacman" Jones.

- In an interview with The Sun UK Newspaper, Hulk Hogan said that Vince McMahon was "DESPERATE and DEFEATABLE."

- The Tennessee Titans got a court order Friday that prohibits suspended cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones from participating in wrestling.
