- At WWE's Vengeance PPV, John Cena retained the WWE title by defeating Mick Foley, Randy Orton, King Booker, and Bobby Lashley. Chris Benoit was scheduled to face CM Punk for the vacant ECW title. He missed the show
due to "personal reasons."
- Johnny Knoxville agreed to work the Summerslam WWE-Jackass angle. The angle is currently scheduled to set up a match at the 8/26 Summerslam PPV.
- WWE hall of famer Jesse Ventura had a meeting with WWE on 6/14. Ventura dressed up for the meeting, which may result in a DVD deal. There has also been speculation that "The Body" could return to television as a general manager.
- It was reported that Dusty Rhodes wants an on air role as ECW commissioner, with the idea of Rhodes feuding with an ECW heel general manager. The chances of doing the angle is said to be 50/50. Rhodes is currently working as a ECW writer with Dave Lagana.
- WWE t-shirts are now being sold at retailers such as J.C. Penny, Kohl's, Mervyn's, Goody's and Target.
- Steve Austin's "The Condemned" will be available on DVD on 9/18.
- According to reports, Kristal Marshall and Bobby Lashley are an item.
- It was reported that Ashley Massaro would be doing "Survivor: China."
- In the month of April, WWE averaged 7,726 fans at live events, up almost 13% from the same period last year. WWE also averaged a $262,684 live gate in April 2007.

- Deep South Wrestling announced it would holding it's first event since parting ways with WWE on 7/5 at WL Carter's Auction Company in Locust Grove, GA.

- TNA granted Austin Aries his release.
- Bob Caudle, a long-time wrestling announcer, suffered a series of heart attacks on 6/14.
- Biff Wellington (real name Shane Bower) passed away. Wellington had been a regular with Stampede Wrestling in Calgary.
