THQ to hold on to WWE Video Game License Steve Gerweck - Thursday, November 5 2009 - 8:12 PM
After getting an extension from WWE to evaluate their licensing for WWE video games, THQ's Chief Executive Officer Brian Farrell announced during the company's financial report call that they intend to hold on tight to the WWE license. A new deal will be in place that will see THQ - along with JAKKS Pacific - keep publishing WWE games for all consoles until at least 2014 when another review would be up. The company's top game for WWE - Smackdown vs RAW - has made millions of dollars in revenue over the past several years. (thanks to Colin Vassallo
