Hogan claims McMahon paid $20 for hall of fame ring
Steve Gerweck - Monday, November 2 2009 - 6:55 PM

In an interview with the Chicago Tribune while on the road promoting his new book "My Life Outside the Ring," Hulk Hogan didn't have nice things to say about the ring that WWE gave him for the Hall of Fame. "I think Vince
McMahon paid $20 for it. My high school ring was better than this thing," the Hulkster said, noting that he only wears the ring to cover the name of his ex-wife Linda tattooed on his finger. "I didn't wear it for a while, but
it's perfect for covering that up," added Hogan. Hulk said he joined TNA because he thought it would be cool to compete with Vince McMahon. "Some people say Vince made wrestling and some say it was Hulk Hogan. We both did
it together." While Hogan didn't reveal what exactly he'll be doing on TNA, he said that if he really embarrasses himself to the point where fans start to laugh at him, he will leave. "I still have reasons to go do this, and
it's not just because I need to make money - which I do. I still love it. I still love it, man. I don't know what else to say."
