Lucha Report for 7/2‏
Kris Zellner - Thursday, July 2 2009 - 10:08 PM

NEWS

A day after his brother Ray Mendoza Jr. called out Blue Panther, Villano IV said that he wants to take the masks of Atlantis & Ultimo Guerrero due to taking his brothers’ masks to defend his family pride. V-4 said that it hurt him so much to see his brothers lose their masks to Atlantis & Ultimo Guerrero but he said that his family’s legacy would be complete with their masks in the hands of a Villano. V-4 said that EMLL refuses to book him to team with his brother Ray Mendoza Jr. for some reason and he doesn’t really know why other than the fact that Atlantis & UG don’t want him in there due to them being afraid. V-4 said that he has been keeping busy though making independent bookings and running the new Villanos gym in Mexico City.

In what seems like almost a yearly tradition, AAA ran their final show at Arena Coliseo de Monterrey last Sunday and are now yet again without a venue in the wrestling hotbed. Carlos Elizondo will resume promoting on Sundays using the talent that he has been using on his Tuesday shows.
