Terri Runnels says Chyna should be in the WWE Hall of Fame

Apr 15, 2018 - by Steve Gerweck

“Without a doubt. Absolutely. Why wouldn’t she be? I can’t really give you that answer. I’m not in the office and I can’t give you that answer, but I know that there is a lot of emotions that are tied in with her, and we know the story of the different relationships and how they ended up happening, but you know, I think Joanie is one of those people, no matter where you live in the world, she is one of the women in the world you have heard of. I know that Dustin Rhodes was very good with working with her. In the beginning, I know some of the guys didn’t want to work with her because they thought it would look bad if they worked with a female, but I’m proud of Dustin for being front and center and was willing to work with her immediately.”

  1. Mumbai Kitchen says:

If WWE decides to induct a woman from New York next year then they can give Chyna her long overdue induction.

Also, next year on October 17th is the 20th anniversary of The Good Housekeeping match from 1999 where Chyna beat Jarrett for the Intercontinental Championship.

  2. Mumbai Kitchen says:

But with WWE not wanting to induct more than 1 deceased person a year (excluding the Legacy Wing) WWE might induct Dawn Marie Psaltis (Dawn Marie 2) from New Jersey instead as their female inductee if WWE decides to induct Bam Bam Bigelow in 2019.

WWE Hall of Fame’s Deceased Inductions:

    1993: Andre the Giant.
    1994: “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers.
1995: Antonino Rocca and The Grand Wizard.
    1996: Vincent J. McMahon.
2004: Big John Studd and The Junkyard Dog.
    2006: Eddie Guerrero.
2007: “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig and The Sheik (Edward Farhat).
2008: “High Chief” Peter Maivia, Eddie Graham and Gordon Solie.
2009: Fritz Von Erich, David Von Erich, Kerry Von Erich [aka The Texas Tornado], Mike Von Erich and Chris Von Erich.
2010: Gorgeous George (George Wagner) and Stu Hart.
    2011: Road Warrior Hawk.
    2012: Yokozuna.
    2014: Paul Bearer.
2015: “Macho Man” Randy Savage and Connor “The Crusher” Michalek.

2016: Big Boss Man, Terry Gordy and Buddy Roberts from the Main Inductees. Mildred Burke, Frank Gotch, George Hackenschmidt, Ed “Strangler” Lewis, Pat O’Connor, Lou Thesz and “Sailor” Art Thomas from the Legacy Inductees.

2017: “Ravishing” Rick Rude from the Main Inductees. Martin “Farmer” Burns, June Byers, Haystacks Calhoun, Judy Grable, Dr. Jerry Graham, Luther Lindsay, Joseph “Toots” Mondt, Rikidōzan and Bearcat Wright from the Legacy Inductees.

2018: Stan Stasiak, Lord Alfred Hayes, Dara Singh, Cora Combs, El Santo, Jim Londos
Rufus J. Jones, Sputnik Monroe, Boris “The Great” Malenko and Hiro Matsuda from the Legacy Inductees.

I doubt we’ll ever see dawn marie in the hof. Such a random choice too. If any woman deserves it, it’s chyna

  4. Disgruntled Jobber says:

They already said why they won’t put Chyna in the Hall. On Stone Cold’s podcast, Levesque, in perhaps the most moronic statement not said by Glen Gillberti, said “People could google her and find out what she did.” meaning porn.

The WWE inducted Snuka even though they knew of his alleged involvement in a woman’s murder. Inducted people like Trump and Kid Rock despite shady details in their past. Inducted Duggan despite his legendary drug bust.

We all know the real reason is they black balled her, bottom line. So we can hope they’ll induct her, but it will never happen.
