The 2017 WWE Fastlane Kickoff Show kicks off from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Renee Young, Booker T, and Peter Rosenburg welcome us to the show. Rosenburg says it will be a great night, and Booker agrees, and they hype up the fact that WrestleMania 33 is only 28 days away. Renee tosses it back to Charly Caruso in the Social Media Lounge, and she says her guest tonight will be Samoa Joe. The panel hypes up the WWE Network, and then we see the video hype package for the feud between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman.

Rosenburg says Reigns has proven that he is not scared of anything. Rosenburg says tonight is the biggest moment of Strowman’s young career and he is interested to see what Strowman brings tonight. Booker says both men have to be focused on tonight and not worried about WrestleMania. Rosenburg picks Strowman to win, while Booker goes with Reigns. Renee then hypes the tag team match on the preshow an then we see Noam Dar and Alicia Fox backstage before The Brian Kendrick interrupts them. Kendrick says Dar has a great opportunity tonight since he gets to team with Kendrick. Dar says they are going to be a quality team and he will do anything to win the match for Alicia. Kendrick says he hopes nothing or no one melts down, and Alicia yells at him. Dar calms them down and says they are going to win and celebrate together. Kendrick says he doesn’t do crazy and then walks away as Alicia goes crazy again.

Cesaro and Sheamus join the panel and Sheamus says they were robbed of the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship. He says they got screwed over three different times and Cesaro gets the crowd to cheer for him simply by standing up and raising his arms. Sheamus does the same, but he gets booed. Cesaro says they bring out the best in everybody. Booker says they hit a hole in one, but then hit a double bogey. Rosenburg asks then if they are nervous that WrestleMania is so close and they are not on the card tonight. Sheamus says they are not scared because they know they are the best. Cesaro and Sheamus say it doesn’t matter who wins tonight, because they will get their titles back. Rosenburg, Booker, Cesaro, and Sheamus all pick Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson to retain.

We see Mick Foley backstage and he is on the phone with Stephanie McMahon, whose flight is delayed. She asks him if he knows how important tonight it, and he says he does. He cuts her off because Jinder Mahal interrupts and says his team with Rusev is done because of Rusev’s attitude. Rusev and Lana interrupt and he and Mahal argue and Foley says he will put them in a Best-of-Seven Series, but they, and Stephanie all say no. He says he will find them each an opponent for tonight and they will be at ringside for each other’s matches. Foley walks away and leaves Stephanie on the phone.

We take a look at the footage of the feud between Samoa Joe and Sami Zayn. Booker and Rosenburg talk about the match between the two tonight and Renee says it will be unreal to see them face off tonight. We then see Samoa Joe getting set up for his interview in the Social Media Lounge.

We join Charly Caruso and Samoa Joe in the Social Media Lounge and Joe looks displeased to be there. Someone asks Joe why he aligned with Triple H and why he attacked Seth Rollins. Joe says he was going to come in and make the biggest impact in the WWE and he did just that. Someone asks how Joe plans to destroy Sami Zayn tonight. Joe says he will beat down Zayn until he can’t be beat down anymore. Someone asks Joe what his plan for WrestleMania is. He says whatever his plan is, he will do it with full force and his plans will be known soon enough. Booker says Joe has already made an impact and he is here to stay and then we see Seth Rollins’ interview from this past Monday’s Raw. Renee then informs us that we will get an exclusive look at Seth Rollins’ rehab on tomorrow night’s Raw.

We take a look at the video hype package for the feud between Bayley and Charlotte Flair. Rosenburg says he loves Bayley’s life story, but there is no chance that Charlotte’s pay-per-view streak will end tonight. Booker says this is his Shucky Ducky Quack Quack Moment. He says Charlotte is known as the pay-per-view queen, but there is nothing bigger than the size of someone’s heart. Booker says Bayley has the right attitude to get it done. Rosenburg says Charlotte is the queen for a reason and is too big and too strong. Rosenburg icks Charlotte to win, while Booker and Renee pick Bayley.

We see Austin Aries’ video hype package for his upcoming debut in the Cruiserweight Division.


Rich Swann and Akira Tozawa vs. The Brian Kendrick and Noam Dar (w/Alicia Fox)
Tozawa and Kendrick start the match for their team, but Kendrick quickly tags in Dar. Dar and Tozawa tie up and Tozawa backs Dar against the ropes. Tozawa delivers quick right hands to Dar and then sends him off the ropes, but Kendrick tags in and takes Tozawa down from behind. Dar and Kendrick double-team Tozawa, but Swann breaks it up. Swann and Tozawa go to dive onto Kendrick and Dar on the outside, but Alicia gets in front of Kendrick and Dar to cut them off as we head to a break.
We’re back and Kendrick is in control of Tozawa in the ring. Kendrick takes Tozawa down with a suplex and goes for the cover, but Tozawa kicks out. Kendrick comes off the ropes, but Tozawa counters with a head-scissors. Swann and Dar tag in and Swann takes Dar down with a quick kick and then a stomp on the back of Dar’s head. Swann delivers a splash and goes for the cover, but Dar kicks out at two. Swann takes Kendrick down with a back-body drop and then rolls Dar up for another two count. Swann knocks Kendrick down to the mat, but Dar takes Swann down from behind. Dar slams Swann into the ring post and then tosses him back into the ring. Dar works over Swann’s arm and goes for the cover, but Swann kicks out at two. Dar slams Swann in the corner and tags in Kendrick. Kendrick chokes Swann with his boot and takes him down with a drop-toe hold. Kendrick goes for the Captain’s Hook, but Swann rolls out. Kendrick suplexes Swann back to his corner and goes for the cover, but Swann kicks out at two. Kendrick tags in Dar, who goes to work on Swann’s leg. Dar takes Swann down with a double under-hook suplex and goes for the cover, but Swann kicks out at two. Swann fights back, but Dar connects with a few uppercuts. Swann kicks Dar in the back of the head and tags in Tozawa. Kendrick tags in as well and Tozawa kicks him in the face. Tozawa connects with a senton and goes for the cover, but Kendrick kicks out at two. Tozawa goes for the stalling suplex, but Dar tags in. Tozawa sends Dar to the floor and tags in Swann. They send Kendrick to the floor and they dive out onto Kendrick and Dar. Tozawa gets Kendrick back into the ring and takes him out with a shining wizard. Dar takes Tozawa out with a running knee and Swann kicks Dar in the back of the head. Swann goes up top, but Dar moves out of the way. Dar rolls up Swann, but Swann kicks out at two. Swann kicks Dar and Kendrick in the face and Tozawa takes Kendrick down with a German suplex. Swann connects with the Phoenix Splash on Dar and gets the pin fall.
Winners: Rich Swann and Akira Tozawa.

We see the video hype package for the feud between Kevin Owens and Goldberg as the Fastlane Kickoff Show comes to a close.

We see the opening hype video for WWE Fastlane, which focuses on Bayley vs. Charlotte Flair, Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman, and Kevin Owens vs. Goldberg. We then go into the arena in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where Michael Cole, Corey Graves, and Byron Saxton welcome us to the show.


Sami Zayn vs. Samoa Joe
Joe goes for a few quick kicks, but Zayn dodges them and backs against the ropes. They stare down and then Joe is able to connect with a kick to Zayn’s hamstring. Zayn comes back with a headlock, but Joe sends him off the ropes and then kicks him down to the mat. Joe gets a few more kicks in and then locks in a knee-bar. Zayn gets to the ropes to break the holds, but Joe keeps coming with quick jabs. Joe goes for a clothesline, but Zayn ducks under and takes Joe down with a head-scissors take down. Zayn pummels Joe in the corner, but Joe turns it around and jabs Zayn with a right hand. Joe kicks Zayn in the chest and then connects with more jabs. Zayn comes back with some rights of his own, but Joe smashes him in the corner. Joe takes Zayn down with an enzuiguri and then delivers another right jab. Zayn fights back with rights and lefts, but Joe takes him down to the mat and locks in a modified surfboard submission. Zayn falls into a cover, but Joe shoves him away and delivers a knife-edge chop. Joe delivers more right hands and then chops Zayn down to the mat. Zayn comes back with right forearms, but Joe kicks his knees out and Zayn goes face-first into the mat. Joe goes for the cover, but Zayn kicks out at two. Joe stretches Zayn out down on the mat, but Zayn counters and sends Joe into the ropes. Zayn connects with the Blue Thunderbomb on Joe, but Joe kicks out at two. Zayn goes up top, but Joe goes after him. Zayn shoves Joe down and dives, but Joe moves and takes Zayn down with an inverted atomic drop. Joe kicks Zayn in the face and connects with a senton. Joe goes for the cover, but Zayn kicks out at two. Joe stalks Zayn down on the mat and then connects with more jabs to Zayn’s face. Joe comes off the ropes, but Zayn collapses in the middle of the ring. Zayn surprises Joe with a roll-up, but Joe kicks out at two. Zayn kicks Joe in the face and takes him down to the mat. Zayn goes up top, but Joe cuts him off with a right hand. Joe goes for the Muscle Buster, but Zayn fights him off. Joe connects with an enzuiguri to Zayn and goes for a superplex, but Zayn fights out of it. Zayn goes for a power bomb from the top, but Joe holds on. Zayn slams Joe into the top turnbuckle and goes for the Helluva Kick, but Joe catches him and slams him down to the mat. Joe locks in the Coquina Clutch and Zayn passes out.
Winner: Samoa Joe.

We see a vignette for WrestleMania 33, which is only 28 days away.

Charly Caruso is joined by Bayley backstage. Bayley says she has tons of nerves tonight and she is the underdog tonight. Bayley says she is sure that Charlotte Flair is going to bring Dana Brooke to ringside so the odds are in Charlotte’s favor. Bayley says is Charlotte is the champion that she says she is, she should leave Dana Brooke in the locker room. Nia Jax walks up and says that she is going to rip Sasha Banks to shreds. Nia says if Charlotte doesn’t take the title from Bayley, she will.


WWE Raw Tag Team Championship Match: Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson (c) vs. Enzo Amore and Big Cass
Cass and Anderson start the match for their teams. Cass backs Anderson into the corner and delivers a couple right hands and tags in Amore. Gallows tries to get involved, but Cass and Amore send Gallows and Anderson to the floor. Cass tosses Amore out onto Gallows and Anderson on the floor. Amore tosses Anderson back into the ring, but Gallows distracts Amore and Anderson kicks him in the head. Anderson slams Amore down to the mat and delivers a series of right hands. Gallows tags in and punches Amore in the midsection. Gallows delivers an uppercut and then slams Amore down to the mat. Gallows goes for the cover, but Amore kicks out at two. Gallows applies a headlock down on the mat. Anderson tags back in and connects with a scoop slam to Amore. Anderson drops a few knees onto Amore and goes for the cover, but Amore kicks out at two. Anderson applies a headlock and keeps Amore away from Cass. Amore fights to his feet, but Anderson takes him down with a clubbing blow to the back of the neck. Anderson pulls Amore outside the ring, but Amore connects with an enzuiguri. Amore sends Gallows into the ring post and then dives toward Cass, but Anderson knees him in the face. Anderson goes for the cover, but Amore kicks out at two. Anderson stomps down onto Amore and takes him to the corner. Anderson connects with some uppercuts and tags in Gallows. Gallows beats down Amore in the corner and then drops him with a big uppercut. Gallows goes for the cover, but Amore kicks out at two. Gallows sends Amore to the corner and charges, but Amore ducks under. Gallows goes for an elbow drop, but Amore moves again. Anderson tags in and charges at Amore, but Amore moves and Anderson hits the turnbuckle. Cass tags in and he takes Anderson down with some shoulder blocks. Cass delivers a fall-away slam and splashes Anderson in the corner. Cass delivers another fall-away slam and another splash. Cass takes Anderson down with a side slam and delivers the Empire Elbow. Cass delivers a big boot to Gallows, but Anderson rolls him up. Cass kicks out and drops Anderson with a big boot. Amore tags in and he and Cas hit Badda-Boom Shaka-Laka, but Anderson breaks up the cover. Anderson sends Cass to the floorAnderson kicks Amore in the face and Gallows shoves Amore’s foot off the ropes as the referee counts three.

We see Mick Foley on the phone with Stephanie McMahon backstage and she says her flight is still delayed. Stephanie says she won’t make it to the show so she needs Foley to make sure the Raw Women’s and Universal title matches go off without a hitch. Foley tells her to relax, but she says she is going to stay on the phone for the rest of the show. She asks Foley about Samoa Joe and he picks up the phone to get her off of speaker, but loses connection.

We see the video hype package for the feud between Sasha Banks and Nia Jax.


Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax
Nia tries to slam Sasha at the start, but Sasha fights free. Nia charges at Sasha in the corner, but Sasha moves and delivers a few right hands. Nia shoves Sasha away, but Sasha dropkicks Nia’s knee. Nia comes right back and sends Sasha to the corner and then slams her down to the mat. Nia stomps on Sasha and then delivers a back-breaker submission in the middle of the ring. Sasha gets free and goes for a roll-up, but Nia grabs her and slams her down to the mat again. Nia goes for the cover, but Sasha kicks out at two. Nia shoves Sasha away and wraps her around the ropes. Nia kicks Sasha in the back and shoves her into the corner. Nia applies a submission down on the mat and then slams her down to the mat. Nia applies another submission, but Sasha’s feet were under the ropes for the break. Nia goes for the cover, but Sasha kicks out at two. Nia applies the submission again and then takes Sasha down with a scoop slam. Nia sends Sasha to the corner and then gets her in a Torture Rack submission. Sasha turns it into a guillotine choke, but Nia fights back. Sasha turns it into a sleeper hold, but Nia backs her into the turnbuckles. Sasha holds on and keeps the sleeper applied, but Nia flips Sasha down to the mat. Sasha delivers a back elbow and a kick and sends Nia into the turnbuckle. Sasha takes Nia down with a DDT and locks in the Bank Statement. Nia fights to her feet and spikes Sasha down to the mat after Sasha came off the ropes. Nia delivers a splash and ragdolls Sasha around the ring. Nia picks Sasha up and puts her on her shoulders, but Sasha fights free and gets a bridge pin for the win.
Winner: Sasha Banks.

We see that Raw Talk returns tonight after Fastlane and will be hosted by Renee Young and Jerry Lawler.

We see the confrontation between Jinder Mahal and Rusev from the preshow, where Mick Foley said they will each have a singles match tonight.

Mahal and Rusev argue over whose match will be first and they brawl in the ring. It spills to the outside and Mahal slams Rusev into the ring post and then knees him in the face. Cesaro’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring. Sheamus’ music hits and he makes his way out as well.

Jinder Mahal vs. Cesaro
They tie up and Cesaro goes behind. Mahal counters with a wrist-lock of his own. Cesaro takes Mahal down and Mahal gets to the ropes. Mahal shoves Cesaro off the ropes and clubs him in the back, but Cesaro comes back with a back elbow. Cesaro goes for the cover, but Mahal kicks out. Cesaro takes Mahal down with a gut-wrench suplex. Mahal comes back with an aerial assault, but Cesaro catches him and slams him down to the mat. Cesaro goes for the cover, but Mahal kicks out at two. Mahal trips Cesaro up in the ropes and then dropkicks him in the back. Mahal drops a knee on Cesaro and then chokes him down on the mat. Mahal chokes Cesaro over the middle rope and then delivers a back elbow. Mahal drops Cesaro with a clothesline and goes for the cover, but Cesaro kicks out at two. Cesaro applies a rear-chin-lock down on the mat. Cesaro gets to his feet and goes for a suplex, but his injured back won’t let him. Mahal takes Cesaro down with a running knee and then a dropkick. Mahal goes for the cover, but Cesaro kicks out at two. Mahal keeps the beat down going on Cesaro and goes for a suplex, but Cesaro blocks it. Cesaro delivers a vertical suplex of his own to Mahal. Cesaro and Mahal exchange shots and then Cesaro delivers a series of uppercuts in the corner. Cesaro delivers the running uppercuts and then puts him on the middle rope. Cesaro connects with the Swiss-1-9 and then goes up top. Cesaro connects with a cross-body and goes for the cover, but Mahal kicks out at two. Mahal comes back, but Rusev distracts him and Cesaro hits him with the pop-up uppercut and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Cesaro.
After the match, Rusev slides into the ring and slams Mahal into the ring post. Rusev beats down Mahal in the ring and stomps away on him. Rusev drives his shoulders into Mahal in the corner and then kicks him in the face. Mahal rolls out of the ring and The Big Show’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring.

Rusev (w/Lana) vs. The Big Show
Show drops Rusev in the middle of the ring and then takes him to the corner. Show delivers a big chop and Rusev rolls to the floor. Show runs after Rusev and shoves him into the barricade. Show tosses Rusev back into the ring and clubs him in the back. Show delivers a headbutt and then sends Rusev into the corner. Show splashes Rusev in the corner and then chokes him over the middle rope. Show takes Rusev down with a side slam and goes for the cover, but Rusev kicks out at two. Rusev comes back and takes Show down to the mat with a shot to his knee. Rusev splashes down onto Show and works over Show’s knee. Rusev applies a modified knee-bar down on the mat, but Show punches Rusev in the face to break the hold. Show takes Rusev down with a side slam and goes for the cover, but Rusev kicks out at two. Rusev rolls to the outside and Show goes after him, but Rusev drapes him over the top rope. Rusev gets into the ring, but Show goes for a chokeslam. Rusev gets free and kicks Show in the face. Rusev kicks Show in the face again and goes for the pin fall, but Show kicks out at two. Rusev goes for the Accolade, but Show counters and shoves Rusev to the floor. Rusev runs back in, but Show drops him with a chokeslam. Show drops the straps and then delivers two more chokeslams to Rusev. Show drags Rusev to the corner and sets up for the KO Punch. He delivers it to Rusev and then gets the pin fall.
Winner: The Big Show.

Kevin Owens joins Charly Caruso backstage. Owens asks why tonight is his biggest match to date. Owens asks if it is because Goldberg beat Brock Lesnar in a minute and twenty-six seconds. Owens asks who Goldberg has beaten in the past five year, the past ten years. Owens says he has only beaten one man. Owens says he has beaten them all since his time in the WWE. Owens says he will not let someone who doesn’t respect him take the title from him. Owens says he will out-smart an out-wrestle Goldberg. He says he doesn’t care who they put in front of him because he is the best. He says not even the mighty Goldberg can change that. He says the is the Kevin Owens Show and it will be the Kevin Owens Show for as long as he wants it to be.

We see the video hype package for Austin Aries’ upcoming debut in the Cruiserweight Division.


WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match: Neville (c) vs. Jack Gallagher
Gallagher goes for a wrist-lock, but Neville backs him against the ropes. Neville comes back and tosses Gallagher to the corner, but Gallagher does his headstand in the corner. Neville tries it again and Gallagher does another headstand. Neville comes back with a shoulder tackle, but Gallagher takes Neville down and then converts a dropkick. Neville rolls to the outside and pulls Gallagher to the floor. Neville grabs Gallagher and slams him into the barricade. Neville tosses Gallagher back into the ring and goes up top. Neville connects with a missile dropkick and goes for the cover, but Gallagher kicks out at two. Neville stomps on Gallagher and then stomps down onto his head. Gallagher fights back with a couple uppercuts, but Neville drives his knee into Gallagher’s midsection and then takes him down with a suplex. Neville goes for the cover, but Gallagher kicks out at two. Neville stands on Gallagher’s head again and then applies a rear-chin-lock. Gallagher gets free and sends Neville to the outside. Gallagher takes Neville out with a plancha through the ropes. Gallagher tosses Neville back into the ring, but Neville connects with a right hand. Gallagher comes back and places Neville on the top rope and then delivers a superplex. Gallagher goes for the cover, but Neville kicks out at two. Neville comes right back and plants Gallagher to the mat and goes for a suplex, but Gallagher counters with a roll-up. Neville kicks out at two and then drops Gallagher with a suplex that sends Gallagher right on his head. Neville goes up top and connects with a Phoenix Splash. Neville goes for the cover, but Gallagher kicks out at two. Neville kicks Gallagher in the midsection and then in the face. Neville kicks Gallagher in the midsection again and then goes for a dropkick, but Gallagher moves and delivers the headbutt to Neville. Gallagher delivers another headbutt and falls onto Neville, but Neville kicks out at two. Gallagher goes for the running kick, but Neville moves and takes Gallagher down with a boot of his own. Neville grabs Gallagher and takes him to the top rope. Gallagher fights free and shoves Neville to the mat. Gallagher puts Neville back on the top rope and delivers a huge headbutt. Gallagher grabs Neville and goes for the superplex, but Neville counters and slams Gallagher down to the mat. Neville hits the Red Arrow and gets the pin fall.
Winner and still WWE Cruiserweight Champion: Neville.

Paul Heyman joins Charly Caruso backstage. Charly asks Heyman if Brock Lesnar is here with him. He says his client has the right to be at Fastlane, but the decision for him to be here is only between he and Lesnar. He says the winner of the WWE Universal Championship match tonight is not Owens or Goldberg, but Lesnar. He says if Goldberg wins, he will defend the title against Lesnar at Mania. If Owens retains, he will expose a weakness in Goldberg that Lesnar will take advantage of at WrestleMania and then he will go on to conquer the Universal Champion down the road.

The New Day’s music hits the the hosts of WrestleMania make their way to the ring.

He says the fans made their dream turn into a reality. Big E tries to sing different songs and Kofi Kingston says they have a new t-shirt and a new dream. They show off their ice cream bicycle. They say they are going to ride their new bicycle all the way down to Orlando for WrestleMania.

Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman
Strowman backs Reigns into the corner and then tosses him across the ring. Reigns goes for a waist-lock, but Strowman counters with a back elbow. Reigns rolls out of the ring, but then get right back on the apron. Strowman knocks him down to the floor, but Reigns lands on his feet. Reigns gets on the apron again and drapes Strowman over the top rope. Reigns gets back into the ring and goes for a Samoan Drop, but Strowman counters. Reigns keeps the advantage and sends Strowman to the outside. Reigns goes out after him, but Strowman sends him flying over the steel steps. Reigns comes back with a punch from the steps and then slams him into the steps. Reigns picks Strowman up, but Strowman backs him into the ring apron. Strowman tosses Reigns into the ring, but Reigns catches Strowman with a right hand to the nose. Reigns backs Strowman into the corner, but Strowman comes right back with a spine-buster. Strowman tosses Reigns into the corner and delivers a clothesline. Strowman tosses Reigns across the ring and then kicks him in the midsection. Strowman picks Reigns up and slams him down again.
Strowman wrenches Reigns’ neck down on the mat. Reigns gets to his feet and goes for the Samoan Drop, but Strowman counters with a Samoan Drop of his own. Strowman splashes down on Reigns and goes for the cover, but Reigns kicks out at two. Strowman applies a rear-chin-lock down on the mat. Strowman clubs Reigns across the chest and keeps the chin-lock applied. Reigns fights free and delivers a few right hands to the midsection. Strowman sends Reigns off the ropes, but Reigns comes off the ropes with a few clotheslines. Strowman catches Reigns and slams him face-first down to the mat. Strowman goes for the cover, but Reigns kicks out at two. The match goes to the floor and Strowman keeps the beat down going. Strowman takes apart one of the announce tables and goes for powerslam Reigns through it. Reigns counters and shoves Strowman into the ring post. Reigns goes for the Drive-by, but Strowman catches him and slams him into the ring apron. Strowman tosses Reigns back into the ring and charges at him in the corner, but Reigns moves and Strowman goes shoulder-first into the ring post. Reigns delivers quick right hands to Strowman and clotheslines him in the corner a few times. Reigns comes off the ropes, but Strowman catches him. Reigns gets free and connects with the Samoan Drop. Reigns goes for the cover, but Strowman kicks out at two. Reigns goes for the Superman Punch, but Strowman dodges and slams Reigns into the corner. Strowman lifts Reigns into the air and slams him down to the mat again. Strowman goes for the cover, but Reigns kicks out at two.
Strowman goes after Reigns again, but Reigns ducks and Strowman catches his knee on the top rope and falls to the floor. Reigns connects with the Drive-by and sends Strowman into the barricade. Reigns goes for a spear, but Strowman catches him and powerslams him through the announce table. Strowman tosses Reigns back into the ring, but Reigns catches him with a Spear. Reigns goes for the cover, but Strowman kicks out at two. Strowman sends Reigns to the corner and charges, but Reigns moves and sends Strowman to the mat. Reigns connects with a couple Superman punches and then goes for a Spear, but Strowman catches him and clotheslines him down to the mat. Strowman goes up top and goes for a splash, but Reigns moves out of the way. Reigns catches Strowman with a Spear and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Roman Reigns.

We see Mick Foley calling after Samoa Joe backstage. Foley says he is in charge tonight and says that Stephanie McMahon wouldn’t want Samoa Joe getting involved in the main event tonight, and Kevin Owens wouldn’t want it either. Foley says he hopes this is the last time he sees Joe tonight and if it’s not, there will be hell to pay.

We see the video hype package for the feud between Bayley and Charlotte Flair.


WWE Raw Women’s Championship Match: Bayley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair
Charlotte takes Bayley down with a waist-lock take down and gets a quick one count. Charlotte tries again, but Bayley counters with a drop toe hold and gets a one count of her own. Charlotte takes Bayley down with a few shoulder tackles. Bayley comes back with a wrist-lock, but Charlotte knees her in the midsection. Bayley comes back and slams Charlotte into the turnbuckle and then takes her down with a hurricanrana on the outside. Bayley tosses Charlotte back into the ring and goes after her, but Charlotte rolls to the floor. Bayley chases her, but Charlotte catches her with a forearm shot. Charlotte tosses Bayley back into the ring and then takes her down to the mat when Bayley was caught in the ropes. Charlotte goes for the cover, but Bayley kicks out at two. Charlotte slams Bayley’s face into the mat a few times and then drops a knee to the back of Bayley’s neck. Charlotte goes for the cover, but Bayley kicks out at two. Charlotte chops Bayley down to the mat a few times and then drops her with a clothesline. Charlotte goes for the cover, but Bayley kicks out at two again. Charlotte slams Bayley against the ring apron and then connects with an elbow shot.
Charlotte shoves Bayley to the middle of the ring and goes for the cover again, but Bayley kicks out again. Charlotte connects with a leg drop and goes for another cover, but Bayley kicks out again. Charlotte walks across Bayley and goes up top and connects with the moonsault. Charlotte hits a senton as well and goes for the cover, but Bayley kicks out at two. Charlotte delivers another chop to Bayley and sends her to the corner. Bayley comes right back and clotheslines Charlotte. Bayley drives a knee into Charlotte’s midsection and then chops her down to the mat. Bayley drops Charlotte with a clothesline and then puts her on the ring apron. Bayley delivers a shoulder drive in the corner and then a hip attack. Bayley drops Charlotte with a suplex and goes for the cover, but Charlotte kicks out at two. Bayley sends Charlotte to the corner and hangs her in the tree of woe. Bayley tries to drop an elbow on Charlotte in the corner, but misses and then pulls Charlotte down and delivers a couple elbow shots. Bayley climbs up top, but Charlotte rolls to the apron. Bayley keeps control and puts Charlotte back in the middle of the ring. Bayley delivers the Macho Man elbow and goes for the cover, but Charlotte kicks out at two. Charlotte comes back when Bayley hesitates and sends Bayley out to the floor.
Bayley crawls back into the ring, but Charlotte drops her with Natural Selection. Charlotte goes for the cover, but Bayley kicks out at two. Bayley comes back with a quick roll-up, but Charlotte kicks out at two. Charlotte sends Bayley to the outside and slams her down to the floor. Charlotte climbs up top and goes for the moonsault, but Sasha Banks rushes the ring. Charlotte attacks Sasha and Bayley takes Charlotte down with a Bayley-to-Belly on the floor. Bayley tosses Charlotte back into the ring, but Charlotte rolls her up. Sasha tells the referee that Charlotte has Bayley’s tights, and then Bayley hits the Bayley-to-Belly to get the pin fall.
Winner and still WWE Raw Women’s Champion: Bayley.

We see the video hype package for the feud between Kevin Owens and Goldberg.


WWE Universal Championship Match: Kevin Owens (c) vs. Goldberg
Owens ducks out of the ring before the referee can call for the bell. Owens teases getting back into the ring a few times, but then keeps dropping to the floor before the referee can start the match.
Chris Jericho’s music hits and Jericho makes his way to the stage. Goldberg spears Owens and hits the Jackhammer and gets the pin fall.
Winner and new WWE Universal Champion: Goldberg.

Fastlane comes to a close with Goldberg celebrating his win with his wife and kid at ringside.
