1990 – NWA Clash of the Champions XIII: Thanksgiving Thunder is held in Jacksonville, Florida in front of 5,000 fans.  The show draws a 4.2 TV rating for TBS.  Full results can be found here.  This is the final Clash of the Champions event produced under NWA;  all future shows would be produced by World Championship Wrestling.

1992 – Black Magic defeats Rayo de Jalisco, Jr., to win the vacant CMLL World Heavyweight Championship.

1993 – The first and only WCW Battlebowl pay-per-view is held in Pensacola, Florida in front of 7,000 fans.  In the main event, Vader wins the Battlebowl Battle Royal, eliminating Sting.  No championships were on the line at Battlebowl.  Full results can be found here.

1994 – At an event in Tokyo, Japan, Bull Nakano defeats Alundra Blayze, to win the WWF Women’s Championship.

1995 – In the Monday Night Wars, WCW Monday Nitro (2.5 TV rating) edges out WWF Monday Night Raw (2.3 rating).

2000 – In the Monday Night Wars, WWF Raw Is War (5.0 TV rating) beats WCW Monday Nitro (2.3 rating).  On Nitro, The Perfect Event (Shawn Stasiak and Chuck Palumbo) defeat Alex Wright and Elix Skipper, to win the WCW World Tag Team Championship.

2002 – On TNA Wrestling’s weekly pay-per-view, Jeff Jarrett defeats Ron Killings, to win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

2007 – Hulk Hogan’s wife Linda files for divorce.  The two had been married for almost 24 years.

2009 – On this evening’s Friday Night SmackDown, John Morrison retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship, by defeating Dolph Ziggler in a two-out-of-three falls match.  Also, The Brothers of Destruction (Kane and The Undertaker) reunite for the first time in over a year;  they face Jeri-Show (Chris Jericho and Big Show), in a tag team match that ends in a no-contest.

2011 – WWE Survivor Series is held at Madison Square Garden in New York City, in front of 16,749 fans.  Full results can be found here.  It marked the first match for The Rock, since WrestleMania XX in 2004;  he and John Cena would team up to defeat Awesome Truth (The Miz and R-Truth).  This would be John Morrison’s final appearance in a WWE pay-per-view;  he’d lose to Dolph Ziggler in a United States Championship Match.  CM Punk would begin his 434-day reign as WWE Champion, defeating Alberto Del Rio via submission.  Punk would not lose the title until the 2013 Royal Rumble.

2012 – Former WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn is arrested in Grand Rapids, Michigan for an unpaid speeding ticket.  She is released after paying a $315 bond.

2013 – In Ohio Valley Wrestling, Paredyse defeats Shiloh Jonze, to win the OVW Television Championship.
