1958 – Danny McShain defeats Bill Longson, to win the NWA Texas Brass Knuckles Championship.

1971 – The Heavenly Bodies (Al and Don Greene) defeat Tojo Yamamoto and Jerry Jarrett, to win the NWA Mid-Southern Tag Team Championship.

1973 – The Mighty Yankees (Frank Morrell and Eddie Sullivan) defeat Jerry Lawler and Scorpion, to win the NWA Mid-Southern Tag Team Championship.

1980 – Frank Morrell and Sonny King defeat Eddie and Tommy Gilbert, to win the AWA Southern Tag Team Championship.

1984 – Dutch Mantel and Tommy Rich defeat The Nightmares (Danny Davis and Ken Wayne) to win the AWA Southern Tag Team Championship.

1985 – Denny Brown defeats Gary Royal, to win the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship.

1986 – In World Class Championship Wrestling, Black Hart defeats Chris Adams, to win the WCWA World Heavyweight Championship.

1988 – Footloose (Samson Fuyuki and Toshiaki Kawada) defeat Shinichi Nakano and Shunji Takano, to win the AJPW All Asia Tag Team Championship.

1989 – In the United States Wrestling Federation, Sheik Braddock and Mark Starr defeat Jeff Jarrett and Matt Bourne, to win the USWA World Tag Team Championship.

1991 – In the Global Wrestling Federation, Lightning Kid defeats Chaz Taylor, to win the GWF Light Heavyweight Championship.

1996 – WCW holds Fall Brawl 1996:  War Games from Winston-Salem North Carolina, in front of 11,300 fans.

-Diamond Dallas Page defeats Chavo Guerrero, Jr.

-Ice Train defeats Scott Norton in a Submission Match.

-Konnan defeats Juventud Guerrara, to retain the AAA Heavyweight Championship.

-Chris Benoit defeats Chris Jericho.

-Rey Mysterio, Jr. defeats Super Calo, to retain the WCW Cruiserweight Championship.

-Harlem Heat (Stevie Ray and Booker T) defeat The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobs and Jerry Sags), to retain the WCW World Tag Team Championship.

-The Giant defeats Jerry Savage.

-In the War Games match, Team nWo (Hollywood Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and “nWo Sting”) defeat Team WCW (Lex Luger, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, and Sting).

1997 – In the Monday Night Wars, WCW Monday Nitro (3.9 TV rating) defeats WWE RAW IS WAR (2.6 rating).  On Nitro, Curt Hennig defeats Steve McMichael, to win the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship.

2005 – In Border City Wrestling, Jeff Jarrett defeats Raven, to win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

2006 – WWE airs it’s final episode of SmackDown on UPN.  The show would move the CW the following week.

2007 – Ring of Honor holds it’s “Man Up” pay-per-view from Chicago Ridge, Illinois.  While the matches occurred on this date, the pay-per-view would not air on television until November 30th.  Thirteen matches were on the card.

-In dark match #1, Ernie Osiris and Silas Young defeat Bobby Dempsey and Rhet Titus.

-In a Four Corner Survival Match, Nigel McGuinness defeats Claudio Castagnoli, Chris Hero, and Naomichi Marufuji.

-Rocky Romero defeats Matt Cross.

-Austin Aries defeats Davey Richards.

-Takeshi Morishima defeats Bryan Danielson, to retain the ROH World Championship.

-In a Ladder Match, Jay and Mark Briscoe defeat Kevin Steen and El Generico, to retain the ROH World Tag Team Championship.

-In dark match #2, Mitch Franklin defeats Alex Payne, in a singles match for the Top of The Class Trophy.

-In dark match #3, B.J. Whitmer and Brent Albright defeat The YRR (Chasyn Rance and Kenny King).

-In dark match #4, Jack Evans and Tyler Black fight to a no-contest.

-In dark match #5, Jack Evans and The Irish Airborne (Jake and Dave Crist) fight The Age of the Fall (Jimmy Jacobs, Tyler Black, and Necro Butcher), to a no-contest.

-In dark match #6, Delirious defeats Matt Sydal.

2010 – In Ohio Valley Wrestling, The Metal Master defeats Ali, to win the OVW Television Championship.

2012 – In Ohio Valley Wrestling, Heidi Lovelace defeats Taeler Hendrix, to win the OVW Women’s Championship.

2012 – Ring of Honor holds Death Before Dishonor X:  State of Emergency from Chicago Ridge, Illinois.  This aired live rather than on tape delay like “Man Up” pay-per-view mentioned above.

-In a tag team match, S.C.U.M. (Jimmy Jacobs and Steve Corino) defeat Caprice Coleman and Cedric Alexander.

-In a Survival of the Fittest Qualifying match, TaDarius Thomas defeats Silas Young.

-Kyle O’Reilly defeats ACH.

-In a tag team match, Rhett Titus and Charlie Haas defeats Jay and Mark Briscoe.

-Jay Lethal defeats Homicide.

-In a tag team match, The House of Truth (Roderick Strong and Michael Elgin) defeat The Irish Airborne (Jake and Dave Crist).

-Adam Cole defeats Mike Mondo, to retain the ROH World Television Championship.

-Tag team S.C.U.M. defeat Rhett Titus and Charlie Haas, to win the vacant ROH World Tag Team Championship.

-In a No Disqualification Match, Kevin Steen defeats Rhino, to retain the ROH World Championship.

2013 – WWE holds “Night of Champions” from Detroit, in front of 10,500 fans.

-In the pre-show match, The Prime Time Players (Titus O’Neil and Darren Young) win a Tag Team Turmoil Match to determine the #1 Contender for the WWE Tag Team Championship.  O’Neil and Young eliminate The Real Americans (Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro), to win the match.  The other tag team participants were 3MB (Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre), Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay and Tensai), and The Usos.

-Curtis Axel defeats Kofi Kingston, to retain the Intercontinental Championship.

-AJ Lee retains the Divas Championship, defeating Natalya, Brie Bella, and Naomi in a Fatal 4-Way Match.  AJ wins the match by making Natalya submit to the Black Widow.

-Rob Van Dam defeats World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio via disqualification;  Del Rio refused to break the five-count after putting RVD in the Cross Arm Breaker.   Due to the disqualification Del Rio remains champion.

-The Miz defeats Fandango via submission.

-Paul Heyman and Curtis Axel defeat CM Punk in a No Disqualification Handicap Elimination Match.

-Dean Ambrose defeats Dolph Ziggler, to retain the WWE United States Championship.

-The Shield (Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins) defeat The Prime Time Players, to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship.

-Daniel Bryan defeats Randy Orton, to win the WWE Championship.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO: Former WWE referee, and General Manager of SmackDown and ECW Teddy Long (69 years old), former ROH World Tag Team Champion Rhett Titus (29 years old), Dragon Gate wrestler Genki Horiguchi (38 years old), and former MCW and MEWF tag team champion Chad Bowman (44 years old)
