We got in early and as the seats filled up the energy was crazy. We drove 3.5 hours to be here and talked with someone behind us that drove 6 and stayed overnight just to be here.

* NXT Tag Team Champions Dash and Dawson defeated Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady to retain. The pop for Enzo and Cass was deafening and set the tone. The Mechanics have such good chemistry but got the win after a double team.

* Elias Samson defeated Bull Dempsey. Bull got a quick pop as he came out with a Cheesehead on but the crowd died for this match. The best chant was for The Undertaker.

* Tye Dillinger defeated Tommaso Ciampa in a really good match. The crowd got hot again and was really into Ciampa.

* NXT Women’s Champion Bayley defeated Alexa Bliss to retain. The reaction for Bayley was insane, bigger than the one for Enzo and Cass. She was so over, it’s hard to put into words. Bliss definitely held her own for the match of the night so far.

Intermission

* Apollo Crews defeated Baron Corbin after two standing moonsaults. I had doubts going into this match but it was smooth from bell to bell. Corbin got some really good heel heat here.

* Eva Marie and Nia Jax defeated Peyton Royce and Carmella. As you can imagine, Eva was hated, the exact opposite reaction of Bayley. There were Blue Pants chants at her.

* NXT Champion Finn Balor defeated Sami Zayn to retain in the main event. Huge reactions for both guys as expected. Finn definitely worked as a heel, no question about it, but everyone was still torn between them. Best chant of the night may have been “both these guys” during this match. Balor won with Coup de Grace and they shook hands after the match.

Some the pops tonight were bigger than main event pops you might hear at Raw or a pay-per-view. Great show top to bottom. My girlfriend is a huge fan and agreed that all of the wrestlers looked to be having a lot of fun. Everyone really worked hard.
