Report: TNA offers James Storm twice the money WWE did for return

ProWrestlingSheet.com, ran by a former TMZ reporter, revealed that TNA gave James Storm more than twice the money that WWE offered him to return to the company. WWE apparently gave Storm less than $100,000 a year but TNA – apart from doubling the money – also gave him a portion of merchandise sales for the duration of his new 2 year contract. Those in WWE also get royalties from merchandise sold bearing their name or logos.

The website also reports that the $200,000+ money Storm is receiving from TNA is guaranteed and WWE left the door open for him to make his return if he wishes to in the future, suggesting that the breakup between the two parties was amicable. Storm returned to Impact last night on the first show on Pop TV and teased a reunion with his former tag team partner Bobby Roode after the two shared a beer together in the ring.
