Gawker accuses FBI of helping Hulk Hogan
Is the FBI in bed with wrestling legend-turned-sex tape star Hulk Hogan?
That titillating question marks the latest twist in a legal royal rumble over an X-rated video showing Hogan getting it on with the busty wife of his best friend.
In one corner is the hulking WWF icon who has filed a $100 million suit against the Gawker website for publishing the tape.
In the other is the brash gossip site known for posting material other media outlets wouldn’t touch.
Since Hogan filed suit three years ago, neither side in the no-holds-barred legal tussle has shown any indication of backing down.
“I told them I would fight this fight until the end,” Hogan, 61, tweeted Friday. “I think they are finally starting to believe me.”
Heather Dietrick, Gawker’s president and general counsel, said Hogan’s outrage over the tape’s release rings hollow coming from a guy who has long divulged intimate details of his bedroom exploits.
