1987 – Jim Crockett Promotions purchased Bill Watts’ Universal Wrestling Federation

2008 – Suwama won the AJPW Champion’s Carnival, defeating Hiroshi Tanahashi in the final

2009 – The cause of death in the case of Andrew “Test” Martin was ruled as an accidental overdose via oxycodone intoxication

2010 – Women’s comedy promotion Wrestlicious, which aired on MavTV in the United States & Bite TV in Canada, went on “hiatus” from airing original TV episodes.  To date, it has yet to return

2011 – Kurt Angle plead guilty to a charge of reckless driving for the incident that occurred on the 3/25 near Thompson, ND where Angle’s SUV was found stopped in the median of Interstate 29
