1993 – Tatsumi Fujinami won the NJPW G1 Climax Tournament, defeating Hiroshi Hase in the final

1994 – Masahiro Chono won the NJPW G1 Climax Tournament, defeating Power Warrior in the final

2000 – The Monday Night War continued: WWF Monday Night Raw defeated WCW Monday Nitro: 6.3 to 2.5 in the ratings

2009 – Shuji Kondo won the AJPW Junior League, defeating Super Crazy in the final

2014 – WWE released former World & WWE champion Alberto Del Rio. A message on stated it was due to an altercation with another employee, & unprofessional conduct!


In 2010, NWA Legend’s Fan Fest held it’s 1st live wrestling event as part of the convention at the University Hilton, in Charlotte, North Carolina:
