6/27/14 WWE Smackdown Recap

Show kicks off with Triple H, Seth Rollins and Randy Orton. Triple H calls this the Authority Era and hypes up both Money In The Bank ladder matches. Orton and Rollins start arguing until Triple H breaks it up and keeps them together. Triple H announces Bad News Barrett vs Dean Ambrose for tonight.

Match #1
Bad News Barrett vs Dean Ambrose

Full on brawl in the early going. Ambrose throws around Barrett and throws some punches. Barrett takes control with a kick to the head. Neckbreaker form Barrett. Barrett wears down Ambrose with submissions. Ambrose reverses a pumphandle slam and goes off the ropes and clotheslines Barrett. Ambrose hits the Dirty Deeds and wins.

Winner: Dean Ambrose

Jack Swagger comes out and throws Barrett into the barricade. Ambrose beats down Swagger with a ladder. Rollins then attacks Ambrose.

Match #2
Bray Wyatt vs Sheamus

Sheamus and Bray trade strikes. Diving shoulder tackle from Sheamus. Bray Wyatt takes control and slowly works over Sheamus. Kicks to the chest of Sheamus. Suplex from Wyatt, followed by a submission. Sheamus begins fighting back with forearm smashes and a big knee. Sheamus with a powerslam. Bray splashes into Sheamus in the corner. Running senton from Bray. Sheamus with the Irish Curse and the cloverleaf. Luke Harper kicks Sheamus.

Winner via DQ: Sheamus

The Usos make the save and they, along with Sheamus clear the ring.

Match #3
Paige vs Cameron

Cameron gets Paige in a headscissors but Paige quickly wins with the Paige Turner.

Winner: Paige

After the match Cameron shoves Naomi into Paige and the two shove each other.

Backstage Stardust and Goldust cut a promo on everyone’s favorite star, Stardust.

Match #4
Cesaro & Alberto Del Rio vs Dolph Ziggler & RVD

Cesaro and Del Rio take turns working over Ziggler in the early going. Crossbody from Ziggler. Dolph with a neckbreaker. Fameasser from Ziggler! Del Rio with a superkick to Ziggler. Cesaro makes the tag and locks in a headlock. Del Rio and Cesaro continue tagging in and out. RVD makes the hot tag and takes out both. Rolling thunder to Del Rio! Split leg moonsault from RVD to Del Rio. Cesaro hits Ziggler with the Swiss Death. RVD goes for the five star frog splash but Del Rio gets his knees up and forces RVD to tap to the armbar.

Winners: Del Rio & Cesaro

Cesaro hits Del Rio with the Neutralizer after.

Match #5
Rusev vs Sin Cara

Rusev makes quick work of Sin Cara and forces Cara to tap with the Accolade.

Winner: Rusev

Big E comes out and cuts a promo putting over the greatness of America.

Main Event
Roman Reigns vs Kane

Reigns starts off strong but Kane takes control. Kane goes to the outside and tries to chokeslam Kane through the announce table. Big clothesline from Reigns, back in the ring. Uppercut from Reigns. Dropkick outside the ring from Reigns. Superman punch from Reigns to Kane. Randy Orton runs in and attacks Reigns.

Winner via DQ: Roman Reigns

Reigns hits a superman punch on Orton but gets chokeslammed by Kane. Kane gets a ladder and Orton climbs up and takes the belts down. Orton goes for the punt but Reigns spears both him and Kane to end the show!
