  1. Megaman says:

    TNA’s HOF sounds like a massive joke at this point (seriously, another WWE washout?). I’m glad I stopped watching the product.

  2. deathedge says:

    @Megaman

    Still better then Drew Carey…

  3. HoF Predictions says:

    Owned EVERY tag title in the world and they’re washouts. Shows how much you really know about the product LOL.

  4. bill says:

    the dudley boyz fn rule

  5. eddie says:

    @megaman one how are they wwe washouts when they left wwe they didnt get released actually vince asked them to come bback. and to gonna call them washouts when they get inducted into wwe hall of fame because will happen someday

  6. Megaman says:

    @HoF Predictions

    I know enough to know that they’ve always been bigger in WWE (if only in paycheck), and that it’s yet another non-TNA original getting into their HoF first. Who cares about the rest of those titles, especially since, if you haven’t noticed, they haven’t been a tag team in a while?

    At this point, why even bother with the product if we all know it’s going to be someone who was never an original/significant part of the company?

    The TNA HoF reeks of desperation.

  7. Mighty says:

    Why does TNA even have a hall of fame? It’s like White Castle honoring their best burger maker. It doesn’t matter.

  8. Tyler says:

    Why do people care about pro wrestling “HOFs”? The whole HOF thing IS the joke.

  9. deathedge says:

    @Megaman + Tyler

    I will say TWO things in favor of TNA’s HOF:

    1) So far, it FEELS like a wrestling HOF, with actual wrestlers getting in instead of, say, Drew Carey.

    2) I like TNA’s induction style more then WWE’s. The main reason WWE’s HOF is such a joke now is that they induct 5 or 6 stars a year, and want to focus on 1 star AND have a celebrity on top of it. This forces them to induct… Iffy stars. TNA doing in 1 by 1 WOULD do it well in the long run… But I don’t know how “long” a run it will have.

    For the record though, WWE’s HOF is definitely a publicity stunt… TNA’s is probably one as well, but again… it just doesn’t feel as obvious.

  10. Stephen says:

    My problem with this PPV is the fact they had to pay Devon to make that apperance. Could they not afford to pay him enough to intervene in the Bully Ray vs EC3 match? I think it would have made actual sense though TNA has a bit of trouble with that sometimes.

  11. LOL says:

    TNA HOF with no AJ Styles is a joke.

  12. Wesley says:

    I think what he’s trying to get at is why is it another former WWE guy when you could of put the likes of Samoa Joe, Cristopher Danials, or AJ Styles. You know, the guys who actually built the company.

  13. X says:

    Still no love for their 1st World champion Ken Shamrock ?

  14. Mike says:

    It is indeed a joke from a desperate company. Considering that there is no AJ Styles, no Jeff Jarrett, no Christopher Daniels not even a James Storm (whom i believe have been there since day one). For the formers, could it have something to do with them leaving on bad terms? That TNA havent gone under (yet) amazes me, but is also laughable. They have reached their peak and if they can get there again, i will gladly eat my words. But until something like that happens, that company is a dead man walking (no pun intended)

  15. Pinkerton's Pal says:

    I don’t really like when smarks just reinvent the word “original” to mean where they think a wrestler was “made”.

    A TNA original should ONLY be one of two things:

    1. A person who was there on the original show

    or

    2. A Person who began their career in that company.

    So if you are saying TNA should honor their originals, the Hall of Fame should include either the original guys (only James Storm who is left) or the people they brought into the wrestling world, which on the current roster would mean Dixie Carter, Garrett Bischoff, Rebel and Rampage Jackson.

    Now onto your actual not half-baked one. The TNA hall of fame is so far made to honor those who achieved success in the company. It does seem ridiculous that AJ Styles and Jeff Jarrett or the 3LK aren’t in there but to say that Sting, Kurt Angle and Team 3D haven’t been large parts of the company since they arrived is also bogus.

    Either way it’s just a honorary gimmick. This very website has one itself. The only willingness/snobbery is on the deciders which of course are going to be filled with some kind of bias. Speaking with that, there would be no hall of fame that wouldn’t be a “joke”. Unless you did it by cold hard stats and nothing else. Which i don’t know of any that do.

  16. The Shield says:

    I don’t get bashing their HoF, one no matter what company runs it, it’s a wrestling HoF not an alumni category. Sting, 3D, & Angle are in no way WWE washouts, & have contributed enough to TNA & wrestling as a whole to be in any HoF. It’s like Verne Gagne being in the WWE HoF, he deserves it for his contributions overall
