3. Gregory Iron
The talented Iron did not allow being diagnosed with cerebral palsy slow down his goal of becoming a professional wrestler. The twenty seven year old was trained by Josh Prohibition, Johnny Gargano, and J.T. Lighting, making his in ring debut in 2006. Iron has dedicated his in ring success to his grandmother, who is credited with introducing him to the world of wrestling. “She meant a lot to me, and everything I do in wrestling is in her honor,” said Iron in an interview. CM Punk remarked of Iron, “You’re awesome! You overcome more than I ever have just waking up every morning. The fact that you became a pro wrestler, I’m only assuming it’s because it was something you wanted to do. You didn’t let anybody tell you that you couldn’t do it … I saw something special watching you in this ring.”
In 2012, Iron and the one legged Zach Gowen formed a tag team calling themselves “The Handicapped Handguns.” The two would defeat The Dead Wrestling Society in January 2013 to become the Prime Tag Team Champions.
In 2013, he was unsuccessful in winning his bracket to continue in TNA’s Gutcheck Challenge, although he finish in third place.
