20. Adam Cole
Adam Cole is the current Ring of Honor champion. Cole is only twenty four years old, and already has captured ROH’s World and Television titles. In addition to ROH, Cole has found success in Combat Zone Wrestling, Maryland Championship Wrestling, Northeast Wrestling, and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG). On January 31, 2014, the 426th day of his title reign, Cole became the longest reigning PWG World Champion.
Cole was trained by Jon Dahmer and DJ Hyde, but has also learned from the likes of Al Snow and Les Thatcher. This up and coming star has cited WWE hall of famer Shawn Michaels as his inspiration.
In 2012, Cole won PWG’s Battle of Los Angeles and MCW’s Shane Shamrock Memorial Cup.
Cole was voted Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s 2010 rookie of the year.
