TIME OFF?

- Batista is apparently taking some time off after WWE’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view as he is not currently being advertised for any WWE events after that show, including RAW the next night from Albany, NY. He is also not advertised for the big European tour that kicks off in May.

It was reported back when Batista signed with WWE that he was expected to take some time off to do promotional work for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy but that movie doesn’t open until August 1st.

    Sounds like a repackage.

The movie might not be out until August, but you have to realize how long press tours and other media events take for HUGE BUDGET Hollywood movies such as this one. 3-4 months isn’t that long, especially if you’re doing events across the world trying to appeal to the different markets.

But just because it doesn’t come out till later doesn’t mean it can’t still be that tho.

Marvel’s honking their horns pretty loud and early, i would not be surprised if they were recording spots or stuff in advance to have it done especially since Batista will more than likely need time then to get ready for Summerslam.

  6. Urvy says:

Well, Guardians of The Galaxy will likely premiere in certain countries before the US anyway.
