Ted Dibiase Jr., Vader, Velvet Sky headlining in Elmira, NY

ELMIRA, N.Y. – First Arena announced today that it will host East Coast Pro Wrestling’s Super Showcase Saturday on Saturday, April 19, 2014. The card for the night features an electic mix of pro wrestling hall-of-famers, current starts, and up-and-comers on the pro circuit.
“This show is sure to delight wrestling fans of all ages. ECPW has put together an amazing card for its Super Saturday Showcase and we’re thrilled to be able to bring an event like this to the Twin Tiers,” said First Arena general manager Matt Hufnagel. The legendary wrestlers scheduled to appear live include Ted Dibiase Jr., Vader, Velvet Sky, Tito Santana, Pitbull Gary Wolf, HC Loc, along with ECPW wrestlers LDC, Lance Anoai’, Trip, Draven, Kryptic Keegan, Big Papa Chill, Andrew Anderson, Crazy Ivan, Frankie The Pizza Guy, Jay Flyer, The Unemployment Line,, Xavier Fate Luke Babcock, Rottmare, Team C**kNasty, Matt Macintosh, Frankie & Jr. Flow, Kraig Stagg and Dan De Man who are also on the slate.
Dibiase Jr. is a former World Wrestling Entertainment tag team champion who spent five years on the world’s top wrestling circuit. He is the son of World Wrestling Federation legend, and 2010 Hall of Fame inductee, “The Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase. The trio of Vader, Tito Santana, and The Sandman, meanwhile, have over nine decades of combined experience inside the pro wrestling ring. Santana was a two-time WWF Intercontinental and WWF Tag Team Champion, and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004. Vader, also known as Big Van Vader, has held 13 different world titles in his pro career including three stints as the World Championship Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion. He also famously appeared in four episodes of the popular television show Boy Meets World in the mid-1990s. The Sandman is a hardcore wrestling legend who rose to popularity with Extreme Championship Wrestling. He claimed the ECW World Heavyweight Championship five different times and was a part of ECW’s incorporation into WWE from 2005 to 2007. For the first time in the Northeast The Sandman will team up with his son, Tyler Fullington, to battle ECW legend Pitbull Gary Wolfe and three-time 607 Showcase Heavyweight Champion Lil Daddy C.
Also making guest appearances at the event will be none other than the star of A&E’s Ghost Hunters Jason Gowin and WENY-18’s own Andy Malnoske. Both with strong local ties to the Elmira area. The opening bell for ECPW’s Super Saturday Showcase is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 19. A special VIP session will run from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and doors to the general public open at 7:15.
