WWE Signs Former NFL Player, WWE Edits The Streak Headline, WWE Fan Speaks, Hercules

– WWE’s website has an interview with 20 year old fan Ellis Mbeh, who was sitting in the front row at WrestleMania XXX and wearing a “Just Say Yes” t-shirt. Ellis became the talk of social media because of his facial expression when The Streak ended.

– There will be an exclusive clip from The Rock’s Hercules movie on the MTV Movie Awards this coming Sunday night.

– WWE edited their article on The Undertaker’s Streak after The Ultimate Warrior passed way. The original title said, “The Streak Is Dead.” It now says, “The Streak Is Over.”

– It was revealed on the latest JBL & Cole Radio Show that WWE has signed former NFL star Shawne Merriman to a deal. He will be working at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, likely in some kind of training role. Merriman worked some of the WWE Network panels during WrestleMania weekend and was at the Superstars For Kids party.

    In all honesty i wouldn’t mind them trying to make a tag team out of Merriman and Mojo. Might actually be entertaining, that is if Merriman can at least get up to Mojo’s level (if not better)

    Merriman was probably hired to be part of the expanded WWE Network broadcasting. I expect them to hire several more folks to work on pre-shows, studio shows and the like.
