WWE Confirms The Passing of Ultimate Warrior

ultimate warrior

WWE.com has the following statement posted on their website under the news section:

WWE is shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of the most iconic WWE Superstars ever, The Ultimate Warrior. Warrior began his WWE career in 1987 and quickly went on to become one of the biggest stars in WWE history. Warrior became WWE Champion at WrestleMania VI, defeating Hulk Hogan in an epic encounter. We are grateful that just days ago, Warrior had the opportunity to take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame and was also able to appear at WrestleMania 30 and Monday Night Raw to address his legions of fans. WWE sends its sincere condolences to Warrior’s family, friends and fans. Warrior was 54 and is survived by his wife Dana and his two daughters.

W.T.F.?!?!?! So sad, but at least he got to say what was on his mind at the HOF ceremony.

Will you please change the top news of the website to this…

    I am horrified right now.

    RIP Warrior.

This is nuts….3 days of traveling and happiness and now he’s gone. It just goes to show you that no matter how healthy you think you are, things can end just like that. I was a Warrior fan until he beat Hogan at Wrestlemania VI. Through the years I thought he was a bit “off” with the speeches, his name change, his rants, etc, but I know he was just a passionate guy who was a softy inside that was bothered by comments made by his co workers.

This is a real shocker and Twitter is going nuts right now with this news. At least he had his welcome home, rightful induction and his moment with the fans on Raw.

    RIP Warrior.
