Mar 9, 2014 - by Michael Riba

Lockdown opens up with shots of Magnus and Samoa Joe arriving to the arena. We then get the opening video for the show before we go live into the arena where Mike Tenay and Taz welcome us to the show.

Six-Man Tag Team Steel Cage Match: Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) and Chris Sabin vs. Yasu, Sanada, & The Great Muta

Sanada and Sabin start the match off for their teams. Sanada and Sabin battle it out for a bit before Kazarian and Yasu are tagged in. Yasu takes Kazarian down with a hip-toss and then tags in Muta. Muta takes Kazarian down and applies the cross-face, but Daniels gets into the ring and breaks it up. Muta sprays the mist and then tags in Yasu. Yasu goes for the cover, but Kazarian kicks out at two. Kazarian gets free and tags in Daniels, but Kazarian and Sabin join in for a triple-team attack on Yasu. Sabin is the legal man now and he tosses Yasu into the corner. Sabin chokes Yasu with his boot. Sabin mocks Muta and then tags in Kazarian. Kazarian drops a leg on Yasu and goes for the cover, but Yasu kicks out at two. Kazarian tags in Daniels, who connects with a moonsault on Yasu.

Yasu tags in Sanada, who goes toe-to-toe with Daniels foe a bit. Sanada takes control and tags in Muta. Muta delivers a corkscrew kick to all three opponents and goes for the submission. Daniel and Kazarian get to their feet and break it up. Muta sprays the mist in Kazarian’s face and then tags in Sanada. Daniels gets slammed to the mat and Sanada connects with a moonsault and gets the pin fall.
Winners: Sanada, The Great Muta, and Yasu.

After the match, Mike Tenay and Taz run down the remainder of the card tonight, but then Rockstar Spud’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring. He brings out Dixie Carter. Carter thanks everyone for worshiping her as their queen. She insults the fans for “looking like they’ve been hit by a hurricane.” Dixie says tonight she is going to turn the arena upside down. She says nobody is going to take any part of her company from her. She says she went to New York City to get an “insurance policy” for tonight and that she has security set up all around the building to keep Jeff Hardy out.

We go backstage with Jeremy Borash and Velvet Sky, who is answering the questions that the fans are sending her. Borash interviews Eric Young. Young says everything changes tonight and doesn’t pick a winning team for Lethal Lockdown.

We get the video preview for the feud between Mr. Anderson and Samuel Shaw.
