Update on WWE Network’s Benoit Disclaimer, WWE Edits ROH Story for Punk?, Network Launch

– There’s a feeling that the recent Ring of Honor article on may have been edited to reflect CM Punk being gone. The impression given was that the original piece was a lot more Punk-heavy.

– While the official WWE Network launch will happen on February 24th right when RAW goes off the air that night, fans will actually be able to start signing up, logging in and viewing content that morning at 9am EST.

– We’ve noted before that a disclaimer will appear before any Chris Benoit match on the WWE Network. The disclaimer will likely just say something about how these are sports entertainment characters and won’t directly mention the Benoit family tragedy.

Well at least WWE can move in the direction of splitting the character of Chris Benoit away from the person he was. That’s too many matches to edit. Plus the year 2004 was a Benoit year. Being the second man ever to win the Royal Rumble at number with the headlock to eliminate the big show- true story
