The original idea for Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards’ TNA debut

The original idea for the debut of Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards was to win the TNA tag titles from Robbie E and Jessie Godderz, but the decision was changed because David Lagana felt they had gotten the Bro Mans over, reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter

Would have been 1000 times better then what they ended up doing!

Yeah the BroMans are so over…they suck. Having them win the titles would have actually put a feud with the titles on the line in the lacking tag division

They should of at least put them in a match with them, make the Wolves look strong, them have the Bros retain via DQ. Sets up a feud and a rematch. I would personally love it if TNA had the Wolves take out Jessie Godderz then cite the Freebird rule and replace him with Zema (who I think is somewhat out of place there, but that’s besides the point) since I think he could have a good match with either guy.

Glad they didn’t. That would have been even lamer. Give Davey a title on his first day there…..that’s like a bad joke that’s punchline is to punch out all your teeth.
