12/28 TNA Live In Westbury, Long Island Results

TNA ran the NYCB Theater in Westbury, Long Island, drawing their biggest live house in the venue in several years. The promotion was very happy with that since WWE was in the area this week with two different live events as well. The show was not sold out but was up from the last show by quite a bit.

Taz made a rare house show appearance, cutting a promo, since he lives in the general vicinity of the venue.

Results from the show:

*TNA X-Division Champion Austin Aries defeated Chris Sabin.

*Lei’D Tapa defeated Velvet Sky

*Ethan Carter III issued an open challenge, which was answered by Tommy Dreamer. Carter won.

*TNA Tag Team champions The BroMans defeated Eric Young and Joseph Park. The finish was changed on the fly as Jesse Godderz tweaked his knee suplexing Park.

*TNA champion Magnus defeated Samoa Joe.

*Mr. Anderson defeated Bully Ray in a short Tables Match.

*Kurt Angle defeated Bobby Roode with James Storm as special guest referee. Storm nailed the Last Call superkick on Roode after the two got into it to set up the Olympic Slam.

Wow these results seem to be the same at EVERY house show TNA does. Almost exactly the same matches, same outcomes as a day or two ago at another venue. They need to start throwing in at least a LITTLE curve here and there.
