Report: Trademark battle over the Fandango name

There is a trademark battle over the Fandango name. WWE attempted to trademark the term Fandango for use for a pro wrestler. Comcast has trademarked the term Fandango for its movie ticketing service. That’s one of the reasons WWE at one point dropped the character after introducing him, and at another point spelled it “Fandangoo.” .
