This is a recap of OVW TV Episode 746 that will be aired in Louisville on 12/7 and is available online at http://www.ovwrestling.com/tv/746

OUR OVW Ring Announcer Shannon the Dude is waiting in the hallway as OUR OVW Owner Nightmare Danny Davis comes out from his office. Shannon asks him about the recent stripping of the OVW Championship from Jamin Olivencia (which is now held up) and the related issues with “Smooth” Johnny Spade and Timmy Danger. Davis says that he has heard everything about this situation and has an answer but he will give that answer in the ring!

OUR OVW Announce Team is Dean Hill, “Anchorman” Gilbert Corsey, and “Rocky Mountain Mouth” Michael Titus as Dean reassures viewers that there will be no weather-related issues for Saturday Night Special on 12/7.

Match #1: Shiloh Jonze (w/fellow Marauders Raul Lamotta, Clint Poe, Nick Dumeyer, and Masked Marauder) vs OUR OVW TV Champion Paredyse
OUR OVW Senior Official “Package” Chris Sharpe is in charge here and after Paredyse has to swat away the other Marauders, exercises his authority and ejects them from ringside. However, Masked Marauder is caught on camera crawling under the ring. Gilbert notes that prior to his title win, Paredyse had been away from OVW for a while as he was performing in a play in Hollywood. Jonze beats on Paredyse to start but gets caught off the ropes and hiptossed. Dean comments that Jonze has been losing lately, as in losing Joe Coleman and Flash Flanagan from the Marauders and losing the TV title to Paredyse. Jonze beats on Paredyse to start but gets caught off the ropes and hiptossed. Paredyse atomic drops Jonze into the corner and Jonze flops over onto the apron, where Paredyse reaches over and fivepunches him. Jonze staggers over to the next corner and snaps Paredyse across the top rope. Paredyse rolls out to join Jonze on the floor and bangs his head into the ring boards before stomping him in the vicinity of the groinular region. Jonze makes his way around the ring but Paredyse goes the opposite way and meets him with a lariat. Back in the ring, Paredyse bronco busters Jonze then sunset flips him for 2. Gilbert says Jonze is now the leader of a flock (well, he is starting to dress like Raven). Jonze grabs Paredyse and chucks him through the ropes as we go to break.
Back from break, we are told Jonze took control of the match. Paredyse hits a sunset flip aided by a groin claw for 2 but Jonze lariats him and drops a knee. Jonze throws a couple of suplexes but whiffs on a lariat and Paredyse crossbodies him for 2. Jones dropkicks and beats on Paredyse in the corner then attempts a piledriver but Paredyse backdrops him! Paredyse gives Jonze the “Keister to the Kisser” followed by the “Kiss Of Death” and an enziguri. Paredyse lingers a bit before climbing to the top turnbuckle but Masked Marauder pops out from under the ring and pushes him off. Jonze covers Paredyse but can’t get a three, so he calls the other Marauders out. They come right out but Flash is right behind them with a blue kendo stick! Flash whacks the others with the stick and Jonze comes out to attack him. Paredyse dives out onto the pile as Sharpe calls for the bell (assuming Jonze got the DQ).
Paredyse and Flash fight off the Marauders. Paredyse says one plus one equals awesome, warning the Marauders not to put their hands in a fire that they can’t put out. Paredyse asks Flash to tag with him at SNS against the Marauders, which is all right by Flash.

In the back, the Mobile Homer Bookies (Adam Revolver & “Man-Beast” Ted McNaler) (w/Brittany Devore) are calming an angry mob that wants refunds on their gambling bets, as they allege that the Bookies’ match with OUR OVW Tag Team Champions Mohamed Ali Vaez & Michael (not PS) Hayes was fixed. Revolver calms the mob, saying that the champs have a match tonight and offers them a double or nothing bet. Of course, the mob takes the bet because gambling money ain’t got no home.
Shannon the Dude passes by and stops Jamin Olivencia for his thoughts on Davis addressing the title situation. Jamin says Davis knows what is right for business and he will make the right decision since Jamin was wronged.

Match #2: “Strongest Gamer Alive” Marcus Anthony vs Leon Shelley
If somebody is missing a tablecloth, it has become Shelley’s pants! Shelley ducks and dodges to start but his kicks and shoulderblocks have no effect. Shelley comes off the ropes with a crossbody but Anthony catches and holds him until he slides off. Anthony slams Shelley hard and celebrates by doing a standing backflip before clamping on a full nelson for the submission victory.

Match #3: The Slimy Jerks (Dylan Bostic & Evan Markopolis) (w/OUR OVW Hula Hoop Champion Ray Lynn) vs OUR OVW Tag Team Champions Mohamed Ali Vaez & Michael (not PS) Hayes
Ray Lynn is in shiny fuchsia shorts tonight. According to Dean and Gilbert, Ray Lynn is still an innocent pawn in the game of life while Titus claims that the Jerks actually know people who can get her photos noticed. Champs work over Bostic, who escapes Hayes’ clutches via forearms to the ribs and tags out. Evan fares no better as he instantly ends up in the champs’ corner and gets splashed by Vaez for 2. Vaez holds Evan in the corner so that Hayes can hit him with a running forearm. Each champ suplexes Evan individually then they give him a double suplex. Evan rolls out to the floor and pulls sweet innocent Ray Lynn in between himself and Hayes. Bostic comes around his partner only to get decked by Hayes and Ray Lynn gets out of harm’s way. Hayes then slugs Evan before everyone returns to the ring. Evan sits in the corner as Ray Lynn decides she wants some pictures and climbs into the ring. Hayes pulls up and tries to get Ray Lynn to move but Bostic attacks him from behind as we go to break.
Back from break, the Jerks are working over Hayes as the Mobile Homer Bookies and Brittany have come out to the announce table. They try to get the announce team to make bets. Dean declines while Gilbert reminds them that there will be no betting at SNS! Bookies say the odds will be in their favor. Revolver mentions that McNaler passed out in their match with the champs (as opposed to taking a dive) and that they have a secret plan to get the tag belts. Hayes finally gets free by backdropping Evan and we get TAGS!! Vaez slams Bostic then slams Evan on top of him before doing a legdrop on the Jerks. The Bookies head to the ring and Revolver trips up Vaez, who then goes out to confront him. Champs end up getting counted out!

The Body Guy and Mr. Marvelous Melvin Maximus are in the back as Body Guy has a warm-up match for his ladies title match against Lei’d Tapa at SNS. Johnny Spade comes over and Body Guy praises his work before informing him about Davis’ announcement tonight. Spade says Davis has known him for years and will take his side in this. Body Guy says it’s time to go beat up a dingbat (so his opponent is Edith Bunker??).

Body Guy and Melvin come to the ring. For some reason, Body Guy is introduced as being 300+ pounds. Body Guy says he is a perfect example of all that is a man. It takes toughness, strategy, and mental energy to be a professional wrestler and women don’t have these same qualities. He says women are better in the kitchen and home. He says he will beat Tapa for the ladies title at SNS then commences the Robe Removal Ritual.

Match #4: Body Guy (w/Mr. Marvelous Melvin Maximus) vs Jessie Belle
Jessie has recently returned to having red hair and is in a camo skirt. Josh Ashcraft is OUR OVW Official for this match. Body Guy grabs a wristlock then grabs the mic, alternately gloating and taunting. Jessie gets free but Body Guy drop toeholds her and says he will finish her off. Jessie gets free and connects on some forearms to the face but misses a splash. Body Guy bodyslams Jessie for the pin.

Mobile Homer Bookies and Brittany are in the back with another envelope full of money going into the carrying case. Revolver brags that regardless of whether the champs win or lose, they make money! Hayes and Vaez walk up to confront them about gambling, with Vaez noting that the champs haven’t yet signed the contract for a title match at SNS. Vaez then says they will if the Bookies put up their gambling operation against the tag belts. Bookies agree to this and say the odds will be in their favor. This would probably be preferable to a “Loser Disappears in the Desert” match.

Shannon the Dude is in the ring and introduces Nightmare Danny Davis (took him a long time to get to the ring:) Davis has heard everything from everybody concerning the OVW Championship except from Jamin Olivencia and Johnny Spade. Davis calls Jamin to the ring. Davis tells Jamin that he is still a crowd favorite and understands the situation, although Davis admits it got out of hand. Jamin is the longest-reigning OVW Champion in history and congratulates him on that accomplishment. Jamin says that he and Davis are honest and good but Timmy Danger is a liar to everybody. Jamin says he proved Danger is full of crap and not injured enough to need a wheelchair. Davis tells Jamin that his methods for proving this were questionable, and then calls out Danger and Spade. Danger appears on the TV screen from the back, calling Jamin a homicidal psychopath. Danger says he had to go through lots of medical treatment and shouldn’t have been endangered by Jamin. Danger adds that it was a miracle that he stood up. Jamin asks Davis to reinstate the title to him but Davis repeats that Jamin used questionable methods to obtain the truth. Davis points out that Jamin used a toy gun, but a gun nonetheless, on a TV show viewed by millions (including children) and he just can’t do that on TV. Davis then says the OVW Board of Directors said that Davis cannot give him the title back. Davis gives Danger one minute to come out to the ring or he is fired! Spade runs out and flattens Jamin with a superkick. Davis is very angry, telling Spade to fetch Danger and get out of the ring or he is suspended. Danger walks out with the restraining order. Davis tells Danger to tear up the order or there will be no match! Danger hesitates as Davis gives him five seconds to tear it up but he finally does. Davis then informs everyone that the stipulation is on! (Stipulation being that if Jamin wins, he gets five minutes with Danger) Jamin says he will run over Spade then run over Danger as the show goes off.

THOUGHTS: Four matches were announced for SNS but three had already been set up, with only Paredyse & Flash vs Marauders getting set on this show. Wonder if we will see Joe Coleman return? Glad to see Davis return and address the Olivencia/Spade/Danger problems. Nothing really spectacular here so I’ll give it a thumbs in the middle.
