1999 – Stan Hansen & Akira Taue win the All Japan World’s Strongest Tag Team League


In 1991, WWF This Tuesday In Texas, held in San Antonio, was an attempt to establish Tuesday nights as a secondary PPV night. With a 1.0 buyrate, the event was a failure and the plans were shelved for over a decade

– Bret Hart defeats Skinner to retain the WWF Intercontinental Title
– Randy Savage defeats Jake Roberts
– Hulk Hogan defeats The Undertaker to win the WWF Title, though he would be stripped of the belt the next night

In 2000, the penultimate ECW PPV, Massacre on 34th Street, was held in New York City

– Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill defeat The FBI (Little Guido & Tony Mamaluke) to win the ECW Tag Team Titles
– CW Anderson defeats Tommy Dreamer
– Rhino defeats Spike Dudley to retain the ECW Television Title
– The Unholy Alliance (Yoshihiro Tajiri & Mikey Whipwreck) defeat Super Crazy & Kid Kash
– Steve Corino defeats Jerry Lynn & Justin Credible in a 3-Way Dance to retain the ECW World Title

In 2006, the first and only ECW (WWE) December to Dismember was held in Augusta, Georgia. It was billed as ECW-exclusive, but featured wrestlers from all 3 brands. It drew the lowest buyrate in WWE history with just 90,000 buys worldwide. It also saw the departures of Paul Heyman and The Big Show

– Bobby Lashley defeats The Big Show, Rob Van Dam, Hardcore Holly, CM Punk & Test in an Extreme Elimination Chamber Match to win the ECW World Title

Title Changes

1966 – Kintaro Ohki & Michiaki Yoshimura defeat Eddie Morea & Tarzan Zorro to win the vacant JWA All Asia Tag Team Titles

1970 – Gene Kiniski defeats Giant Baba to win the NWA International Heavyweight Title

1971 – Dr X defeats Ramon Torres to win the NWA Junior Heavyweight Title

1984 – Ted DiBiase & Hercules Hernandez defeat The Rock N Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) to win the MSW Tag Team Titles
