Nov 21, 2013 - by Michael Riba
We go into the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida, and we kick things off with footage of Bobby Roode attacking James Storm in a bar. We then transition into the opening video for tonight’s special broadcast of TNA Impact Wrestling: Turning Point. The video focuses on the tournament for the vacant TNA World Heavyweight Championship and the feud between Bully Ray and Mr. Anderson, which will culminate in a match tonight with the stipulation that if Ray wins, Anderson will be gone from TNA, and if Anderson wins, Aces and Eights will disband.
We go into the arena and we see Dixie Carter walking up to Samoa Joe. She says her performance on last week’s show was excellent, but his was not. Storm says he knows Dixie saw what happened to him in the bar last night. Storm says the rope in his hand is not enough for tonight. He says he wants to use some chairs, tables, and barbed wire against Roode tonight. He says he wants a Florida Death Match tonight. Dixie says she doesn’t care about Storm’s ‘bar room escapades’ and the Wheel of Dixie has been spun and Storm is in the Bullrope Match. Storm says if Dixie doesn’t give him his match, he will call the police and have Roode arrested. Dixie tells him to not take that tone with her and tries to calm the crowd down. Storm says TNA is about giving the people what they want. Dixie says it’s not and she still doesn’t like Storm’s tone. Storm asks Dixie, very politely, to give him his Florida Death Match later tonight and says he will make the cops go away. Dixie says if Storm calls the cops and says nothing is wrong with her show, he has the match. Storm tosses the microphone down and leaves the ring.
Mike Tenay and Taz run down part of the card tonight, which includes a singles contest with Abyss going one-on-one with Joseph Park, and Bully Ray and Mr. Anderson going to battle in a No Disqualification Match.
