In 1997, WWF Survivor Series was held in Montreal, Canada. This event is famed for featuring the Montreal Screwjob

– Team Canada (The British Bulldog, Jim Neidhart, Doug Furnas & Phil LaFon) defeat Team USA (Vader, Goldust, Marc Mero & Steve Blackman) in a Survivor Series Match with Bulldog as the lone survivor
– Road Warrior Animal, Road Warrior Hawk, Ahmed Johnson & Ken Shamrock defeat The Nation of Domination (The Rock, Faarooq, Kama Mustafa & D’Lo Brown) in a Survivor Series Match with Shamrock as the lone survivor
– Steve Austin defeats Owen Hart to win the WWF Intercontinental Title
– Shawn Michaels defeats Bret Hart to win the WWF Title in the match famed for the Montreal Screwjob. In short, Michaels put Hart in the Sharpshooter and referee Earl Hebner (under orders from Vince McMahon) immediately called for the bell, despite Hart not having submitted

In 2008, TNA Turning Point was held in Orlando, Florida

– Beer Money Inc (James Storm & Robert Roode) defeat The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley) to retain the TNA Tag Team Titles
– Booker T defeats Christian to retain the TNA Legends Title and force Cage to join the Main Event Mafia
– Kurt Angle defeats Abyss in a Falls Count Anywhere Match
– Sting defeats AJ Styles to retain the TNA World Title

Title Changes

1975 – Terry Funk defeats Paul Jones in the final of a tournament to win the vacant NWA Mid-Atlantic United States Title

1976 – The Spoiler defeats Bill Watts to win the TSW North American Title

1986 – One Man Gang wins the UWF Title by forfeit after Terry Gordy is injured in a car accident. Also, Bill Irwin & Leroy Brown defeat John Tatum & Jack Victory to win the UWF Tag Team Titles and Savannah Jack defeats Buddy Roberts to win the UWF Television Title
