This is a recap of OVW TV Episode 742 that will be aired in Louisville on 11/9 and is available online at http://www.ovwrestling.com/tv/742

OUR OVW Announce Team is Dean Hill, “Anchorman” Gilbert Corsey, and “Rocky Mountain Mouth” Michael Titus.

“The World’s Most Dangerous Hype Man” Timmy Danger wheels out through the curtain then calls security over to place him and his wheelchair in the ring. Gilbert questions whether or not Danger is really injured but Titus believes they are. Dean suggests some investigative reporting needs to be dome on this matter. Danger says that a few weeks ago, “Smooth” Johnny Spade superkicked OUR OVW Champion Jamin Olivencia in the face so no one could get their hands on Jamin, since Spade wants him fresh, with no blemishes on him. Last week, it was proved that Jamin has been avoiding Spade when he gave Spade the Standing O and cost Spade his match against Shiloh Jonze (where the winner got Jamin at Saturday Night Special). Danger figures that proves that Jamin is avoiding Spade since he would rather fight Jonze and four other Marauders than fight only Spade! Danger calls Jamin a gutless coward and that a jellyfish has more spine than Jamin does! He adds it’s easy to be the longest-reigning champion in OVW history when Jamin can avoid somebody who can beat him (as Spade has done three times). Jamin comes through the curtain and he is very angry! Jamin says he is still the champ and the only reason he came out last week was to get his hands on Spade and drive his head into the mat. Jamin also notes he beat all five Marauders with no problem. Danger then brings up that Jamin had brought his daughter backstage at SNS and had not introduced her to himself or Spade, which he says was very rude and shows Jamin is not a good father. Danger then adds that after Spade beats Jamin, she will have a new daddy to look up to!!! Jamin climbs in the ring and grabs Danger by the collar, yelling at him to bring out Spade. OUR OVW Senior Official “Package” Chris Sharpe comes out to separate the two. Danger promises Spade will be here tonight in a non-title match just to prove that Jamin can’t beat Spade, and when Jamin doesn’t win, he will have no choice but to grant Spade a title shot. Jamin yells at Danger to get out of his ring and get him Spade!

Match #1: Dylan Bostic & Evan Markopolis (w/OUR OVW Hula Hoop Champion Ray Lynn) vs J Best & “Mexicutioner” Roberto DeLuna
Ray Lynn has obviously bought into Evan’s & Bostic’s story that they are modeling agents as she stops frequently to allow the guys to snap pictures of her. Dean and Gilbert imply that Ray Lynn is naive and being manipulated, calling Evan & Bostic “slimy”. Titus feels that Ray Lynn is destined for greatness! Best and DeLuna work over Bostic to start then Best drops a couple of knees on him before Ray Lynn climbs on the apron and daces around. Best showers her with dollar bills, which allows Bostic to clobber him with a forearm. Bostic chops Best in the corner as Evan snatches the dollar bills from Ray Lynn:( Evan comes in and snapmares Best but misses kneedrops and a splash. DeLuna tags in but runs into an Evan kneelift. Bostic baseball slide kicks Best off the apron then the “slimy” duo hits the Death Sentence/Veg-a-matic on DeLuna for the pin.
Ray Lynn poses some more as Titus believes she will be popular on Instagram.

OUR OVW TV Champion Shiloh Jonze is in the back with fellow Marauders Joe Coleman, Flash Flanagan (with a new red kendo stick), Raul Lamotta, Nick Dumeyer, and the Masked Marauder. Jonze mixes his metaphors saying he hasn’t slept for a wink, then goes on to say that this is not about “I” but about “we” since “we” screwed up and lost focus at SNS. Coleman interrupts and notes that they have the TV title and have had two shots at the OVW Championship, so maybe they should broaden their horizons and go after the tag titles. Lamotta cuts him off, saying he thought Coleman was a true believer and that Jonze knows where the Marauders need to go! Jonze says they will settle this the Marauder way, that is, Coleman vs Lamotta later on for a shot at his TV title next week!

OUR OVW Tag Team Champion Mohamed Ali Vaez and Michael (not PS) Hayes come out to the ring. Vaez says they survived a brawl at SNS against Marcus Anthony and Rob Terry and thanks the crowd for their support. Vaez notes that there is still one team out there with a win over them, Best Team Ever, and they want to settle that score tonight. (Actually that would be two, one at the Nightmare Cup and one a few weeks back when BTE won the first match in a best-of-three series) BTE comes out to the ring and Rudy Switchblade says that in all this tag team mess, people forgot about them, but BTE didn’t forget. Vaez says BTE is resting on their laurels and accomplishments from a year ago then suggests a best two out of three falls match tonight. BTE accepts as Sharpe comes out to ref. Titles are on the line! (Wouldn’t it be fairer for BTE to start up 1-0?)

Match #2: OUR OVW Tag Team Champion Mohamed Ali Vaez & Michael (not PS) Hayes vs Best Team Ever (“Mr. Pec-tacular” ™ Jessie Godderz & “Best Rudy Ever” Rudy Switchblade)
Both teams grapple and make quick tags in and out to start. Godderz tries a Boston crab on Vaez but gets flipped aside. Vaez blocks Rudy’s suplex and small packages him for 2, then makes BTE whiff on double thrust kicks by rolling out. BTE follows and the four brawl briefly before heading back in. Rudy misses a frog splash on Vaez but rolls over to tag Godderz in. Vaez catches Godderz in a small package for a pin to go up 1-0.
Back from break, we see BTE stomping Vaez before Rudy hits a back senton on him for 2. Vaez ends up isolated in the wrong corner for a bit. Godderz clamps him in a body scissors and turns him over for 2. Godderz locks Vaez’ arm in order to keep him from making a tag but Vaez is able to scoot away and work himself free. Godderz grabs Vaez by the leg and grapevines it to pull him back to the BTE corner. Vaez reverse whips Rudy into the champs’ corner and we get TAGS!! Hayes comes off the second turnbuckle and gives Rudy a tornado DDT. Godderz wanders in and Hayes gives him a jaw jacker for a cover but Rudy pulls him off. BTE hits the Best Finisher Ever on Hayes but Rudy is slow to make a cover and only gets 2. Vaez gives Rudy a DDT for 2 and all four are in to fight. Hayes boots Godderz out to the floor then he and Vaez hit consecutive neckbreakers on Rudy, with Vaez covering him for the pin to win the match 2-0 and retain the titles!! (Imagine that, it all worked out in the end.)

Some of the OVW ladies are in the back (Hannah & Holly Blossom, Lovely Lylah, Bobbie Bardot, & Jessie Belle) attempting to convince Ray Lynn that she is involved with losers, creeps, snakes, scumbags, etc. Evan and Dylan walk up and reassure Ray Lynn that her portfolio will soon be up-on Twitter (both of their Twitters!). Ray Lynn leaves with the duo as The Body Guy and Mr. Marvelous Melvin Maximus walk up. Body Guy calls the ladies “typical rats”, alleging that all women wrestlers pass themselves around to guys. He then adds that this is what all women wrestlers do to climb the ladder! This offends the ladies and they let Body Guy know it! Melvin adds that they are “typical rotten divas”.

Match #3: Jessie Belle vs “Powerhouse Princess” Miss OVW 2013 Lovely Lylah
Jessie headlocks Lylah then gets shot into the ropes and blocks Lylah down. Jessie takes Lylah down and puts a headscissors on her but Lylah works free and clamps on one of her own. Music hits and out comes Body Guy and Melvin. Body Guy says the two women need to be arrested “for attempted murder by way of rottenology” as this is the worst match he’s ever seen. Body Guy claims that women are killing the wrestling business, calling Jessie “delirious and fake”, and calling Lylah “fat”. Body Guy tells the ladies to get out of his ring and has Melvin chase them out. Body Guy will perform a public service by running the women out of OVW!

Match #4: Joe Coleman vs Raul Lamotta
This is a “Marauder Way” match. Lamotta throws his vest at Coleman as Jonze and the rest of the Marauders come out to view the proceedings. Some armworking gets traded before Coleman hits some jabs and comes off the ropes with an elbow for 2. Lamotta responds with The Eyepoke Of Doom followed by a rear chinlock accentuated by some elbows upside Coleman’s head. Coleman gets to his feet and suplexes Lamotta, unleashing an impressive array of offense which kind of seems to unnerve Jonze, who calls for the other Marauders to hit the ring. The others are confused as to whom they should attack as Coleman rockbottoms Lamotta for the pin.

Hayes and Vaez are walking down the hallway when they encounter Adam Revolver collecting money and taking new wagers from Rockstar Spud and “Diamond Steel” Ryan Howe. Revolver tells the champs that he is happy because he made a lot of money on them at SNS since he was the only one who bet on them to win. He implies that everyone else bet on Terry and Anthony to win the match. Revolver calls Hayes and Vaez “The Tim Tebows of OVW”!!!

Gilbert plugs an OVW live event in London, KY on 11/9 where Hayes and Vaez take on Jonze and Coleman in the main event.

Match #5: “Smooth” Johnny Spade (w/Timmy Danger) vs OUR OVW Champion Jamin Olivencia
Dean points out that Danger killed the career of James “Moose” Thomas and wonders if Spade will suffer the same fate. They lockup and Jamin backs Spade to the corner where Spade responds with The Eyepoke Of Doom! Spade chops away on Jamin the rakes his face and kicks him in the back. Spade gets Jamin down on the mat in a sleeper/bodyscissors combo but Jamin manages to eventually work free. Jamin comes off the ropes but Spade catches him and pulls him into an inverted dragon sleeper thing. Jamin again gets free of this and chops away on Spade before missing a splash. Spade hits a running kneelift but Jamin splashes him thrice, getting a 2 count on the third one as the show goes off with the match still in progress!!

THOUGHTS: Guess we’ll have to tune in next week-same OVW time, same OVW channel-to find out if Olivencia can defeat Spade. Looks like the next challengers for Hayes and Vaez will come from the Marauders camp. The Body Guy deal didn’t really make sense until it dawned on me that all the ladies in that clip were faces. Have we seen the last of Terry, Godderz, Jay Bradley, and Lei’d Tapa here in OVW? Is a turn in the works for Coleman? I was OK with this overall so I’ll give it a upper thumbs in the middle.
