Janice Carter’s memo to TNA talent and staff

The memo that Janice Carter sent to staff and talent at TNA has circulated online. The memo was sent out last Thursday to squash rumors that the company is for sale and you can read it below:

Dear Staff,

As we embark on our “Where Action Never Ends” 365 initiative, I wanted to take this time to thank you for your dedication and enthusiasm to your company’s renewed creative direction. I feel confident that, together, we are marching towards something great – a revolutionary way to experience professional wrestling.

With this said, I am aware of the false rumors currently circulating that The Carter Family and Panda Energy is attempting to sell their ownership stakes in TNA Wrestling. An unfortunate aspect of this business is that there are wrestling “reporters” who consistently post “news stories” without proper facts. I want to assure you that these are just rumors and I am committed to TNA and its future.

While I typically find that responding to such rumors is a waste of time, I wanted to use this as a moment to express my support and delight for the creative direction we are moving in. Our work has just begun and I look forward to a long and rewarding future with you and TNA.

Warm Regards,

Janice Carter
Chairman of the Board

I dont buy it. I think they’re just foing this to calm the whole “whats gonna happen to my job” morale that could be circulating. Then again, stranger things have happened.

“Our work has just begun and I look forward to a long and rewarding future with you and TNA.” Like maybe we’ll find someone with enough money that this won’t be a complete embarrassment and negate profit in areas that actually make money.

I believed at first that TNA was for sale, but now as I see this story progress, it’s becoming clear that there is no substantial evidence that has surfaced that supports that claim. Meanwhile, now there’s an apparent memo from one of the primary stake holders of the company saying it’s all been nothing but rumors.

I for one would have loved for TNA to have been sold to new owners with great plans for the company, if the company was for sale, but at the same time since they’ve gotten rid of Hogan, Bischoff, and most everyone else associated with that downfall of an era for the company, I do trust they can turn things around if they really want to. Hopefully they revert back many of the changes they made thanks to Hogan, biggest of which is going back to the hexagonal ring that was their signature.

Thank God someone just publicly called out wrestling “reporters”. They are a plague on the land and insult to journalism.

it’s a damn shame the National Enquirers fake sources are often better than the Observer’s real sources.
