Report: Dwayne Johnson To Tackle Earthquake Movie

Action man Dwayne Johnson is in talks to star in a new earthquake disaster movie, titled San Andreas.

He will reteam with Brad Peyton, who directed him in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island for the project, which is set to hit cinemas in 2015.

The former wrestler will play a rescue helicopter pilot attempting to keep his estranged daughter from harm during a California quake, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

  1. San Andreas really? GTA 5 folks will have something to say about that.

It’s referring to the San Andreas fault. That’s what I would assume Rockstar got the name from. Actually now that I think about it, the name San Andreas first appeared in the original GTA on the PlayStation. So I guess Take-Two used it first.
