RVD taking a break from the ring

– Rob Van Dam will be off television for a few months after this week as his current contract allows him to work three months at a time and then take a break for as long as he wants according to WWE.COM is also running a story saying that RVD could be having “second thoughts” about his return, after failing to win the title and missing out on the Money In The Bank briefcase and would be taking some time off. When Van Dam returns, he will be on screens for another 90 days, most likely now returning for the Royal Rumble and in time to collect a WrestleMania paycheck. RVD made his return at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view after wrapping up his TNA duties.

One could argue that he took all the time off he needed while he was in TNA. What a waste of money & TV time. WWE & RVD? They deserve each other.

And nothing of the least importance was lost.

I don’t understand why the WWE brought RVD back in the first place. It seems to me he contributed nothing to any storyline. He has become more boring now than he was 10 years ago. Why bring him back at all?

  5. Craptacular says:

The only thing useful for RVD is seeing him wrestling against Punk and Bryan, then that’s all.

It was a ten shot deal.
