In a recent interview on Jay Mohr’s podcast, former World Heavyweight
champion Mark Henry revealed that he signed a new three year deal with WWE
which also includes a pay rise. The world’s strongest man signed with WWE
in 1996 and by the time this current contract runs out he would be with
the company for 20 years, making him one of the longest serving WWE
employees from the 90s, joining The Undertaker, Triple H, and Kane. When
he was brought in back in March of 1996, Henry – then 24 – was signed to a
massive 10 year deal.

Good for him. I admit there was a time i didn’t like Mark Henry but over the latter half of his career he was really proved himself to belong in the spot he is at. As long as he stays healthy i hope Mark stays around as long as he can.

Although when it is time to go, i hope he still shows up to beat some one up once a year.

A new 3 year deal…..and he will spend 2 of that on the disabled list. I like Mark, but he is always hurt.

  3. DBRude says:

PLEASE put him in a non-wrestling role! And what’s the raise for?
