Hogan staying with TNA?

Hulk Hogan 2

We previously noted that Hulk Hogan’s current contract with TNA was set to expire in days. Regarding WWE, Dave Meltzer noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, those in WWE believe Hogan is staying and that TNA will move the Impact tapings to Las Vegas. The perception is that Hogan and Eric Bischoff will push for the move to Las Vegas.

Hogan’s staying and Mickie James is leaving. That one sentence tells you everything you need to know about TNA (mis)management.

  2. Mark says:

Sounds like a great idea..keep the cancer and move to show to Vegas.
Wow could these two be more self indulgent on Bob Carter’s dime? SMH

    Yes Brother! Stay in TNA!

  5. Agent Cooper says:

Yep, he’ll stay until he’s sucked the company dry of every last dollar. He’s the ultimate leech and Dixie is too stupid to see it.

  6. Manny says:

I wanted to see The Real American back in WWE sooner rather than later. But anything to will make TNA bankrupt quicker works for me!

    What cha gonna do TNA!!!!!

  8. Daniel says:

Maybe they should bring Brooke Hogan back again as well. It seems like they want to pay stars that are Irrelevant to the (WRESTLING) business. Get rid of the (WRESTLERS) and bring in the MMA Stars. Pay MMA Stars to be on your WRESTLING SHOW, and get rid of all the WRESTLERS that make your show. Good for Business Dixie….NOT!!!

  9. Daniel says:

Just like Rob Van Dam in TNA, IF Hogan were to show up on WWE television, he could be relevant again. ITS ALL ABOUT TNA BEING BAD FOR BUSINESS. Dixie is the captain of a sinking ship.

  10. Ian says:

    Move to Vegas ….cool…keeping Hogan…UGH!!!

The only possible logical reason to keep Hogan is to make the company more attractive to potential buyers. That, and the fact that they’ve been cutting costs so drastically, leads me to believe that Bob Carter is looking to unload TNA on some other money mark.
