Not good news for Dolph Ziggler, or his fan base.

Regarding the plight of Ziggler, right now the WWE brass don’t believe he’ll ever be a guy who draws money, and he’s pretty much demoralized, reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

He is a in ring performer, his mic skills are still lacking something he reminds me of a less dynamic hbk.

  2. Really? says:

What the Hell? What’s Derrek Diggler doing in the Impact Zone?!

  3. Ziggler is awesome in every way possible. He should be WWE Champion. WWE is stupid. Seriously.

  4. flas says:

how can you not see money in the guy?? I would rather see him v bryan than orton any day of the week!

  5. Jamie says:

He’s got the look, he’s got the talent, he’s got the charisma (though I will admit his recent mic work has been a bit lacking) and he’s got the fanbase.

What else do you need to get a push?

  6. Jamie says:

Just remembered him getting perhaps the biggest pop of the year back in April. Doesn’t that say something aswell?

  7. MC Live says:

He is clearly a logical choice to move forward with in the company. So why don’t they use him? Simple. Because that would be the smart, logical thing to do. Who does anything smart or logical anymore? Not the McMahons! And look how the business is now because of it!

  8. Jempires One says:

He is more talented in the ring and no worse a talker than Orton. FACT!

He was over when he cashed in the MITB. FACT!

The front office was angry when he got a concussion and couldn’t gut through it- even if their corporate stance is different. FACT!

WWE continues to scold talent for not “grabbing the brass ring” and they book according to favorites and not crowd reaction. FACT!

Instead of investing TV time and pushes to hard-working, deserving guys they they keep their bigggest title on a guy with two wellness violations and is one more away from a perma-ban. FACT!

I guarantee that behind the scenes, it has been conveyed to the testers to avoid Oron while they are so low in star power, even though their plight in that area is self-inflicted. FACT!

  9. David K says:

Wow, I can’t believe that you all are falling for this. This is the same thing that they said about Daniel Bryan, which was 100% work…and this is also. You guys need to stop sippin Triple H Kool Aid.

  10. Brian George says:

I find it sad that the future of wrestling will be decided by the biggest tool in the industry Triple H. That guy pumped more steroids into his body than Hogan ever did.

  11. gerry says:

I don’t see to many dolph ziggler action figures flying off the shelves

  12. Scott II says:

If this is for real, my only guess is that Ziggler pissed off someone in the back at some point.

  13. Joshua says:

The one problem I have …and you can say this a lot about every single wrestler, is the black and white of them being a heel or a face. What I mean is Dolph as a face, is over, but not completely over. Dolph as a heel, is the same way, not totally hated. Look at all the great wrestlers who have had incredible runs as both heels and faces, and you will find the silver lining in all of them is that in either event, they were 100% black and white, the villian or the hero.

  14. Adurka Durk says:

How can you not see money in Chalupa Batman!?

  15. WhatIDo says:

Work. Ziggler for the ’14 RR

  16. Alex says:

I’m really hoping this is a work to further the angle going on right now.

This guy SPELLS money and has had a huge fanbase even as a heel… and that RAW pop when he won the belt!

  17. Jau says:

What a joke of a company!

  18. mrjoshdude says:

Yeah but Alberto Del Rio is gold right?

  19. cas says:

lets face it guys, he’s great….but there is a lot of truth to him not bringing in money. mostly due to the fact he’s not a main eventer. not because he lacks anything, its just not his time.

  20. chris c. says:

as much as i like ziggler’s work i don’t ever see him as one of the top 3 guys…
