Final 9/23 Raw Rating

Monday’s edition of WWE Raw scored a 2.81 cable rating, down from the 2.96 rating the show drew last week.

Monday Night Raw had competition from new programming and Monday Night Football (Denver vs. Oakland), which scored 13.92 million viewers on ESPN.

    Still a good rating, which is what’s important. of course you’ll see the so-called fans lamenting “ratings are down, WWE is dying” blah blah blah dribble dribble dribble.

    Even with more popular items on the same times for three hours, a high 2 is pretty damn good and besides as long as they make enough to pay the bills, that’s all it takes to be successful.

    I have to laugh at the above post because if TNAS ratings slip then the naysayers all come out…

    I said it before and I will say it again…

    WWE is not getting anywhere NEAR what they use to get … which was a 7.0 during the monday night wars with WCW… so if you think a company that has LOST over 50% of their viewership is a good thing…well then keep on dreaming!

    September ratings last year and this year…

    2012: 2.83, 2.86, 2.89, 2.72
    2013: 2.85, 2.90, 2.96, 2.81

    Better than last year even if not by much,
