JAY LETHAL VS. SILAS YOUNG

Lethal got the pin after the Lethal injection, flipping off the ropes into a diamond cutter. The wrestling was good here and the crowd was into it in spots. People didn’t take Young seriously but everything he did was solid. Lethal used three tope’s in the first few minutes and it was hard to follow from there.

ADAM COLE VS. TOMMASO CIAMPA IN THE ROH FINAL FOUR SEMIFINALS

Cole advanced to the finals via pinfall after a knockout from a series of up kicks. This was a good match but the finish went over the heads of the audience and was flat. Cole kicked out of Project Ciampa. Both were on the ground when Cole threw a few kicks from his back and Ciampa sold it like the kicks knocked him out and the ref counted three.

MICHAEL ELGIN VS. KEVIN STEEN IN THE FINAL FOUR SEMIFINALS

Surprisingly long match. Crowd was quiet for most of the way and really hurt the match. The finish saw Steen go for the package piledriver but Elgin reversed into a crossface for the submission. It’s amazing how not over Steen is compared to a year ago. Steen used three choke suplexes near the finish. Lots of near falls. There were light “This is awesome” chants that actaully were kind of sad because it was like a dozen people chanting and nobody would join in.

The story is that Cole took little damage in his win while Elgin had to go 20:00 in a grueling match, so it made sense what they did, but the match didn’t get over with most of the crowd.

ROCKY ROMERO & ALEX KOSLOV VS. DAVEY RICHARDS & EDDIE EDWARDS FOR THE IWGP JR. TAG TEAM TITLES

Another long match, with a clean win by Romero & Koslov with their usual finisher of Koslov having Richards up for the torture rack and Romero did a springboard kneedrop onto Richards. Koslov pinned Richards to take it. A good match, hurt by the crowd.

Yes, we’ve got a frozen screen now. Nigel McGuinness was talking about Richards maybe having a hernia in the match. He was on the ground selling his stomach when it was over.

ADAM PAGE VS. R.D. EVANS

This was just a way to come back from intermission after Veda Scott, who is the lawyer for Evans, was complaining. Page won a quick match with a powerslam and Omori piledriver. Nigel McGuinness made comments that Scott needed to put on some underwear.

RICKY MARVIN VS. RODERICK STRONG

Sorry folks, the stream has been down now for 20 minutes. We’ll try back but I’m headed to watching Arena Mexico.

Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander & ACH & Tadarius Thomas beat Matt Taven & Michael Bennett & Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish in an eight-man tag match.

MICHAEL ELGIN VS. ADAM COLE FOR THE ROH TITLE

The stream constantly went down during this match but Cole won in about 25 minutes. When Jay Briscoe presented him with the belt, Cole superkicked Briscoe and then laid out Elgin with a belt shot.
