Former WWE Nick “Eugene” Dinsmore has been hired as a trainer by World Wrestling Entertainment, and will work with developmental talent at the company’s new Performance Center in Orlando, FL. 1. Agent Cooper says:

They really did ruin his career with that terrible gimmick.

  2. Denis says:

    I agree

  3. Stunning Steve says:

They did ruin his career with that gimmick, so they owe this to him. Not to mention he is incredibly talented and will make a great trainer.

  4. Mimura says:

    totally agree with you gents

  5. Ian says:

Even though he is an incredible talent and a guy Chris Benoit once said was one of the best technical wrestlers he ever faced WWE did NOT ruin his career with that gimmick.

Nick Dinsmore, unfortuantely, was not being called up to WWE despite how good he was…he came up with the Eugene gimmick himself, ended up getting called up and held titles and was featured regularly.

Without the Eugene gimmick he might not have ever been in WWE in that big of role.

And I was definitely NOT a fan of the gimmick

  6. Adam says:

I wasn’t a big fan of the gimmick either, but he made it work and given enough time, he could have really gotten it over. He won titles with it, a few of the things he did were funny as hell (HHH in the bouncy castle still makes me laugh), and he made Eugene his own character.

He could have ran with it for a couple of years longer than he did. Hell, it was better than Zack Ryder.
