Both men block suplex attempts on the apron. Sunset flip by Steen back into the ring and goes to attempt the Sharpshooter. Kendrick blocks it so Steen slingshots him into the corner. Kendrick manages to land on the middle turnbuckle. Back kick by Kendrick followed by a 2nd rope Tornado DDT for a nearfall. Steen blocks Sliced Bread #2 and hits the F-Cinq for a nearfall. Package Piledriver attempt by Steen but Kendrick escapes and hits him with a Superkick. Goes for Sliced Bread again but Steen hits him with a Sleeper Suplex for another nearfall. Kendrick crawls into the corner and uses the ref as a shield to avoid Steen’s corner cannonball. The ref gets shoved aside and Kendrick hits Steen with a low blow. Steen comes back with a chokeslam followed by the corner cannonball. Steen pulls him out of the corner and applies the Sharpshooter and Kendrick has no choice but to tap out.
