Ricky Steamboat coming to the Harley Race Wrestling Camp‏

World League Wrestling and the Harley Race Wrestling Academy are proud to announce the newest addition to a week-long training camp beginning Monday, November 11 through Friday, November 15.

This star has appeared all over the world and held prestigious championships during his lengthy career. Wrestling for promotions such as W.W.F., N.W.A, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling, this particular legend is still considered to be one of the best “good guys” of all time. Harley Race and WLW are pleased to announce that Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat will be appearing at the Harley Race Wrestling Camp!

Ricky Steamboat started his career in 1976 and was a main-stay in the National Wrestling Alliance sanctioned territory Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling. Ran by Jim Crockett Promotions, Ricky achieved great popularity throughout the years, feuding with the likes of “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair, Sgt. Slaughter, and Tully Blanchard.

These iconic matches helped Steamboat win the NWA World Television Championship, NWA World Tag Team Championship and NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship.

Steamboat also competed in the WWF as Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, feuding with Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Rick Rude, and Randy Savage, among others.

Steamboat will be coming to the world-renowned Harley Race Wrestling Camp this year on WWE’s behalf, to scout talent and teach the craft that he has become famous for. This year’s camp is scheduled for Monday, November 11through Friday, November 15. The cap off event will be held on Saturday, November 16 in Eldon, Missouri where. Steamboat will meet fans.
