WWE issues statement on Mark Henry injury

Statement issued on on Sunday evening.

“Mark Henry suffered a right hamstring injury at a live event in Boston on Saturday, August 31. This occurred as Henry ran in during the last match of the night. Medical imaging will be obtained to determine the severity of the injury. Stay tuned to for any further details.”

    I knew it. I was there. He stayed down for a while and was moving gingerly when he got up. He was the only one not to join in the fun and deliver a finisher on any of the Shield members.

    They probably have a draft of this injury report ready for Mark Henry, just change the date, type of leg injury and the city.

    He and Show need to move on to non-wrestling roles. I’d love to see Show as a face GM under Triple H, for example. Henry could be, like, the on-screen talent relations guy backstage, or something. #Puttheminsuits!
