You mean that one of the companies champions was NOT signed to an actual contract? What is this company thinking?

It seems odd to announce the signing of a person who is already champion. I think it is easy to see that TNA may be having issues. It would really suck if they go under now. They don’t provide much competition to WWE, but any is better than none.

I have a feeling this was a kayfabe contract and not a real one ;) Either that or it is now a contract that makes him exclusive to TNA.

Nice of them to film that special moment.

  6. Matt says:

No wrestling company has provided any competition with each other since the end of the Monday Night Wars. They all just provide alternatives.

The teir system we have really hasn’t had any major changes in years.

  7. Joshua says:

Matt said it correctly, it is tiered. What made ECW so popular in its heyday wasn’t just it’s format and style, but it never tried to rival or takeover WWF/WWE/WCW , it just was an alternative…an extreme alternative. Even when TNA started, it was similar to ROH in that it is/was an alternative…it had a 6 sided ring, it was unique, but then they wanted to go head to head …that was the problem, they tried/try too hard. Hopefully it wont be too late to learn that mistake.

Let hope the boy doesn’t get Sorensened by Dixie and the carnies at TNA!

  9. Sinister says:

Everyone say a prayer for TNA, it’ll hopefully get better someday………………..
