Not good news for BJ Whitmer

An interview with Bryan Alvarez, ROH grappler BJ Whitmer stated that he suffered a bruised C-3 and C-4 vertebrae, which will heal, but he’s also suffering from spinal stenosis, which is what ended the careers of Steve Austin and Edge. He said he’s going for a second opinion to see what they will say, and if he can work, he will stay in wrestling until he’s 40 (he’s now 35). But he is going back to school to get a nursing degree to prepare for his post-wrestling days.
